Petal Potpourri.... Thank You

This is such a pretty color combination, don't you think??

My daughter, Lilly, loved it, too!!

We start our card with a Very Vanilla card base, then add a layer of Sahara Sand card stock embossed with the Spring Flowers Embossing Folder.

Next, we added a 1" strip of Bermuda Bay card stock to the bottom of the card, along with that beautiful Sahara Sand Lace Trim.  I love how the lace trim pops against the bold blue of the Bermuda Bay card stock - you can really see all of the beautiful detail on the lace trim that way!

Then, we stamped that fun flower (from the Petal Potpourri Stamp Set) in Bermuda Bay ink and punched it out with the coordinating Flower Medallion Punch.  These two items are bundled together for a 15% savings on both items - I just love those bundles (and a good deal!).  We also added a Very Vintage Designer Button tied with a Linen Thread bow to the flower.

Finally, we stamped "thank you" (from the Painted Petals Stamp set) in Bermuda Bay ink.

Mini Treat Bags - Club Member Treats!!

These are some fun treat bags I made for each of my club members this month!!

I really do love spoiling them with these cute treats!!

Plus, it's a great excuse to play with my products :)

This treat kind of looks like a mini paper bag - it's so darn cute!!!

 I started with our Kraft Cardstock and die-cut the bag with the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Die.

The best way to put this treat bag together is with our Fast Fuse Adhesive.

I have finally learned how to use this adhesive!!  The trick is to definitely take it slow, and....  Make sure there is no adhesive on the case itself, or the adhesive won't advance properly.

Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies  137547  $39.95

I added a piece of the 2014-16 In Color Designer Series Paper Stack (which is now on the retiring list) to the bag, then punched a tag with our Ornate Tag Topper Punch  A piece of coordinating cardstock (in this case, Tangelo Twist) was embossed with the Lucky Stars Embossing Folder and then adhered to the tag.

The Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies come with so many great accessories - for example, the "for you" and heart behind the sentiment are included in the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies.

Celebrate Today... Birthday Wishes

I love the fringe look on this card, how about you??

I have seen this technique before, just never used quite like this!!

Read on to learn more....

We start our card with a Whisper White card base, then add layers of Smoky Slate and Whisper White card stock.

Next, we stamped those dots (from the Celebrate Today Stamp Set) in Pool Party ink - stamp once in full strength and again with the ink left on the stamp for a softer look.  We also stamped the "tail" of our balloon in Hello Honey Ink, using the same technique as the dots for the lighter images.

Then, we made that cute balloon - just add a square of Birthday Bash Designer Washi Sheets to a piece of Whisper White card stock, then die-cut with the Balloon Framelits - what a cute look!

We also stamped the banner (from the Celebrate Today Stamp Set) in Smoky Slate ink and die-cut it with the Balloon Framelits.  These two items are sold separately, but are also bundled together for a 15% savings on both items!!

Now, for that fringe technique I mentioned earlier....

Just take a strip of Hello Honey 5/8" Quilted Cotton Ribbon and cut along one of the seams.  Then, pull the layers away to reveal the fringe.  Keep these layers to create the "tassle" on your balloon.

To make the tassle, gather together about 10-15 strips of frayed ribbon.  Take another 4 strips of frayed ribbon and tied around the middle of the 10-15 gathered frayed strips.  Then, just tuck one end behind the balloon, and the other end becomes the tassle!
