Stampin' Up! Hey, Chick

This chicken is too funny!!  Don't you think whoever receives this card is just going to laugh??  I know I would!!

We start our card with a Peekaboo Peach card base, then added a layer of  2015-17 (Watermelon Wonder) In Color Designer Series Paper (DSP) Stack to our card.  I love the bold look of those stripes - see the rest of the patterns in this DSP below

Next, we added a square piece of Peekabook Peach cardstock, followed by a square piece of the Carried Away Sale-a-Bration Designer Series Paper (DSP) to our card.  You can get this DSP for FREE!! with a $50 order during Sale-a-Bration!!

Then, we stamped that super-silly chicken and "hey, chick" from the Hey, Chick Sale-a-Bration Stamp Set (another FREEBIE with a $50 order during Sale-a-Bration) using our Basic Black Archival Ink!!  You're going to have to have this stamp set after you search for all of the fun ideas popping up on Pinterest using this set - check some of them out here.

Basic Black Archival Ink  140931  $7.00

We colored our chicken in using our Aquapainter and Crushed Curry ink - just squeeze a little bit of ink into the top of the ink pad, then draw a bit of ink up with your Aquapainter and color him in!  His hair and feet were colored in with our Watermelon Wonder and Peekaboo Peach Stampin' Write Markers.

Finally, we die-cut this piece with our Stitched Shapes Framelits (doesn't it almost look like we really stitched around the edge of our square??) and added a Rhinestone to our chicken - maybe that makes this chicken a "she" after all??!
