Stampin' Up! Cute Halloween Treat Idea

I've got some fun Halloween treats for you today!!

These are the treats I made for my club member this month :).

Sooooo, anyone that knows me well knows..... that I LOVE candy corns!! In fact, I might be craving them as I write this blog post.... uh oh...... :).

Since it's that time of year, I decided to share my love of candy corns and add them to these little treat bags so that everyone else can enjoy the, too!

The treat topper is simple to make (and one that I've used for years now!). I'm pretty sure I made something like this when Lilly first started pre-school (and now she's a senior in high school!). In fact, here she is on her last..... first day of school this week :).

Ok, let's talk more about these treats....

I started with a 3" x 4" piece of Cute Halloween Designer Series Paper and scored it in half along the 3" side.

Next, I filled a cello bag with candy corns and stapled the DSP over the top of the cello bag.

Then, I die-cut a Basic Black tag using the Seasonal Labels Dies and added it to the DSP (covering the staple) with Dimensionals.

I stamped the pumpkin outline in Pumpkin Pie ink, the inside shading of the pumpkin in Pale Papaya ink, the face in Black Memento ink and "Hey, Boo!" in Highland Heather ink on Basic White card stock using the Cutest Halloween Stamp Set. Then, I punched the pumpkin out with the coordinating Halloween Punch.

Finally, I tied a Black & White Gingham Ribbon bow and added it to the tag.
