Groovy Love Valentine Scrapbook Pages


Here are some Valentine pages for you this month!!

I thought....  better late than never!!

And, I think everyone at Scrapbook Class this month agreed!!


We start with a Basic Black Base, then added a strip of Real Red Card Stock to the middle of both pages.

Next, we added a couple of banners using our Back to Black and Stacked with Love Designer Series Paper, along with a Real Red 1/8" Taffeta Bow around those pieces.

Happiness Is.... Project Life Memory Keeping


These are the projects we made at the beginning of our Memory Keepers Class the other night....

This night is dedicated to getting caught up on our Memory Keeping - we make a couple of simple projects with the Project Life Kit (that we receive during class that month) and then the rest of the time we actually put our pages together (with our pictures and our card kits)!!  It's such a great concept!!

Like I said, these are some simple projects made using the Happiness Is Project Life Card Kit and Accessory Pack.  We made one full 12x12 page with some of the cards and accessories from the kits - just to show how easy it is to make a full page layout if you need one!!

Silver Sparkle Lotus Blossom... Thank You


What a beautiful, sparkly card this is!!  And a perfect way to say "thank you" to someone you know!!


We start this card with a Smoky Slate Card base, the we added a layer of our Irresistibly Yours Specialty Designer Series Paper.  

This paper is so much fun!!  We chose Strawberry Slush ink and our Sponge Dauber to color this paper - just dab the dauber in the ink pad and sponge around the paper - the ink will stick to the white scratchy surface on the paper, but not to the glossy embossed part of the paper.  
Wipe any excess ink off with a tissue, and you're done!!

It is so simple and has such a gorgeous effect!!

We also added a small strip of Silver Glimmer Paper behind the sponged Designer Series Paper - to give it that sparkle!!

Next, we stamped our flower - using the gorgeous Lotus Blossom Stamp Set (another FREEbie with a $50 order during Sale-a-Bration).  

This is a 3-step flower stamp.  We stamped it as follows:

1st – ink the solid flower image in Blushing Bride ink, stamp it off, then stamp on card stock
2nd – ink the next flower image in Blushing Bride ink and then stamp
3rd – ink the smallest flower image in Strawberry Slush ink and then stamp

Next, we stamped the flower stem in Pear Pizzaz ink and the sentiment "thank you" in Strawberry Slush ink.




The final finishing touches are the cute bow made with White Baker's Twine and the small fold of 1 1/4" Jute Ribbon behind the flower.

Sweet Hummingbird.... A Happy Thing


What a sweet little hummingbird he is!!

I wasn't initially drawn to the images in the "A Happy Thing" Sale-a-Bration Stamp set...

But, since I've played with them, I have fallen in love with them!!


We start our card with a Crushed Curry Card base, then added a strip of Best Year Ever Designer Series Paper (yours FREE with a $50 order during Sale-a-Bration) over top of a Baked Brown Sugar strip of Card stock to the side of the card.



Next, we stamped our hummingbird in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and punched him out with our 2 1/2" Circle Punch.

Then, we colored him in - his face with our Daffodil Delight Blendabilties Marker (the medium shade) and his belly with our Coastal Cabana Blendabilities Markers (the outside edges with the medium shade and the center of his belly with the lightest shade).

Love is Kindness


Oh, my I just love these tulips!!


This is such a sweet, simple card - with a perfect sentiment to send to someone you love!!


We start our card with a Baked Brown Sugar Card base.  Then, we stamp.....


We stamped the Love Is Kindness stamp (a single wood-mount stamp) in Tuxedo Black Memento ink.

Then, we used our Coastal Cabana Blendabilities Markers (yours FREE with a $50 order during Sale-a-Bration) to color in the tulips - using the medium shade around the edges of the flowers and the lightest shade in the center of the flowers.  We also used our Skin Tone Assortment Blendabilites Markers to color in the newspaper wrapped around the flowers and our Old Olive Stampin' Write Marker to color in the leaves.  You could certainly use the Crumb Cake and Old Olive Blendabilities on these as well - I just wanted to show the differences in the markers to my class-goers.
