Here's a sneak peek at our new 2017-18 In Colors!!!!

I love this time of year!  It's always so fun to have new colors to play with!!  And Stampin' Up! did not disappoint - each of these new In Colors is fabulous!!  

I can't wait to use them in lots of great projects this year :)

We made each of these cards at our Group Gathering this month - I think everyone loved getting to play with the new In Colors!!

For each of these cards, we start with the In Color Card base.

Then, we added a piece of Whisper White card stock embossed with the Softly Falling Embossing Folder

Next, we added a strip of the Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper Stack in the coordinating In Color to our Whisper White piece.

We also added the coordinating In Color Finely Woven 1/2" Ribbon to our Whisper White piece, then we added this piece to our card.

Finally, we stamped our sentiments from the new Crafting Forever and Label Me Pretty Stamp Sets.  We punched our sentiments out with our 1 3/4" Circle Punch, then layered them on a scallop circle die-cut with the Layering Circle Framelits.

We even added one of the new Clear Faceted Gems to our sentiment.  They come in Gold (Faceted Gems), too!  And they are gorgeous!!

Here is a beautiful sympathy card for you today....





I saw a card similar to this on Pinterest (designed by Jolene Harms) and knew we had to make it at our Simple, Beautiful Card Class earlier this month.

I featured a few of my favorite retiring stamp sets at our Card Class, and this is one of those sets that I'm REALLY sad to see go!

I just love how you can make it look like you watercolored the flowers and leaves with a couple of stamps!!  I even tricked a few people at class (they thought we were using our Aquapainter or Blender Pens at first!).

Biggest Birthday Ever

Here's a fun birthday card for you today :).

You can never have too many cute cards on hand for all those special birthdays in your life!

We start our card with a Pool Party card base, then added a piece of Calypso Coral and Whisper White card stock, along with a piece of the A Little Foxy Designer Series Paper to our card.

Sorry, as I'm writing this blog post, it looks this DSP is already sold out!  Any DSP with polka dots or a small, subtle pattern would work just as well!

Next, we stamped our ice cream in Calypso Coral ink and our ice cream cone in Smoky Slate ink.

We also die-cut our ice cream cone with the coordinating Wish Big Framelits (another retiring item).
