3D Project/Big Shot Class - Wednesday, June 27

Here is the project we made at the 3D Project/Big Shot Class recently.  I made this same type of project a few years ago at a class I attended with Robin Spinner and have been wanting to put another one together for a long time.  I finally did it!  I love that my classes get me to finally do some of these things that I have intended for a looooong time :)

This really cool photo holder/frame is essentially 2 6x12 pieces of card stock that were attached together and then cut and folded in an accordian manner so that they fold up into one neat book!  There are lots of spots for pictures and your journaling!  I think the ladies at club really liked this project!  I can't wait to fill mine with some fun summer photos - the colors

(Island Indigo and Pool Party) make me think of the beach and the pool - I wonder why!

We used the new Fancy Fan Textured Impressions Embossing Folder on the outside cover and to add visual interest and texture to some of the inside folds.  We also featured the Word Play stamp set (a long-time favorite of mine!) and the Hearts Collection Framelits die with the Big Shot on the cover.

Scrapbook Class - Thursday, June 21

Here are the Scrapbook pages we made at class last Thursday.  Perfect for those summer memories!!

These two pages feature the Mouthwatering Stamp set.  I thought the images were perfect on these bright summer pages!  We added crystal effects to the cherry on the ice cream cone and the seeds on the watermelon.  My club members had fun finding other places to add the crytal effects as well!!

We used the new Floral Frames Framelits on this page to highlight the cherries.  I love how it kind of looks like a sun on this page, too!

We added a cute ladybug to the page (I found this idea on Ronda Wade's training blog page that featured punch art cards) and a flower made with the Blossom Party Originals die with the Big Shot.  We also embossed the flower with the new Fancy Fan Textured Impressions Embossing Folder - I LOVE that folder!

Baggie Book Event & New Catalog Kickoff with Ronda Wade - June 23, 2012

This first card features the new stamp set, Make a Cake, and the Distressed Dots and Curly Cute stamp sets!!  It also features the new In-Color Gumball Green.  This is such a fun, new color!!  Finally, we used the new Apothecary Accents Framelits dies to highlight the cake from the Make a Cake set and the Finishing Touches Edgelits Die to highlight the Happy Birthday sentiment.  I love this cute, simple card!!  This idea came from the Lady-n-the-Stamp blog.  Love her cards!!

This second card features the new stamp set, Everything Eleanor.  We received this stamp set at Leadership back in January!  I was glad to find some time to finally play with it!!  I also used my new Color Coach for the new 2012-14 In Colors - it gave me the suggestion to pair the colors Basic Gray, Primrose Petals and Summer Starfruit.  I'm sure I would not have come up with the color combo on my own, but I really like it!!  I think I'm really going to appreciate those color coach cards!!

I also used the new Fancy Fan Embossing folder on the Primrose Petals piece - what fun that new folder is!!  You can't see it too well in this photo....  But the last new item on this card is the Vintage Faceted Designer Buttons.  You have to check those out in person - my picture-taking abilities do NOT do those justice!!
