Let’s make some beautiful cards!!  This class features the Label Me Grateful Bundle, Floral Charm Designer Series Paper, Party Banner Dies, Charming Shimmer Faceted Dots and Basic Beige Classic Ribbon.

 

You will need the following ink pads: Berry Burst, Mossy Meadow, Timid Tiger

 

I recommend using Stampin’ Seal to assemble your projects.  You will also need Stampin’ Dimensionals, Mini Dimensionals and Mini Glue Dots.

Fancy Flora Calendars

 

Hi Friends!!!!

I've been meaning to post about these cute calendars for quite some time now!!  

And... it's FINALLY time!!

I made these as club member treats and also sent them to all of my team members, the Inkspired Stampers :).

I really wanted to feature the new Fancy Flora Designer Series Paper on these calendars, and I'm so happy I did!!  You can see three different patters of this gorgeous DSP on the calendars here.

I think the calendars turned out beautifully.  And I hope you agree :).

I started with a 4 1/4" x 11" piece of Orchid Oasis card stock and scored it at 5 1/2".

Next, I stamped a couple of  flowers in Orchid Oasis ink using the Color & 
Contour Stamp Set.

Then, I adhered a 4 1/4" x 3" piece of the Fancy Flora Designer Series Paper to the bottom of this piece.

Next, I cut another Orchid Oasis piece of card stock to 4 1/4" x 5" and scored it at 1", 2 1/2" and 4".  This piece creates the inside "stand" of the card.  Just adhere the 2 outside 1" flaps to the inside of the 11" piece to create the stand.

I also tied a Pool Party Sheer Ribbon bow around the Designer Series Paper.

After this, I mounted the calendar on a piece of 3 1/8" x 2 3.8" Orchid Oasis card stock and then adhered it to the Designer Series Paper.

Then, I stamped "You Matter to So Many" in Orchid Oasis ink on Basic White card stock using the Something Fancy Stamp Set.  There are so many great sentiments in this stamp set!  You can see them all below.  

I also stamped another flower from the Color & Contour Stamp Set on this sentiment piece in Pool Party ink.

Next, I die-cut the sentiment, along with a Fresh Freesia Fine Shimmer label behind it, using the Something Fancy Dies.  This is a MUST HAVE die-set - there are so many great labels in it!!

Finally, I added two Iridescent Pastel Gems to the sentiment.  These are my absolute FAVORITE new embellishment in the Mini Catalog.  The colors are just gorgeous!!

One Day Crafting Retreat

 

Hi Everyone!!

We held our One Day Crafting Retreat earlier this month!!  

It was so much fun!!!.... Finally being able to gather again and craft, socialize and just BE together :).

This is what their table space looked like when they arrived for the day.  

Included in their goody bag was a full package of the Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper, a full bolt of the Fresh Freesia Open Weave Ribbon, a package of Brushed Brass Butterflies and 2 yards of the Evening Evergreen Windowpane Check Ribbon.

They also received a fun treat box filled with a yummy cookie from our local Cindy Lou's Sweet Creations!!

Here's a closer look at the treat box......

These boxes are super-simple to make!!

-I started with an 8 1/2" x 8 1/2" piece of Pool Party card stock and then scored it at 2 1/2" on all 4 sides. 

-Next, cut up along two opposite sides of the score marks to the intersecting score marks.

-Add adhesive to all 4 outside flaps, then fold them in and adhere to the middle flap on each side to create the box.

To create the lid....

--I started with a 6" x 6" piece of Flowering Fields DSP and then scored it at 1 1/8" on all 4 sides. 

-Next, cut up along two opposite sides of the score marks to the intersecting score marks.

-Add adhesive to all 4 outside flaps, then fold them in and adhere to the middle flap on each side to create the lid.

Next, stamp "You are wonderful in every way" in Poppy Parade ink on Basic White card stock using the Happiness Abounds Stamp Set.

Die-cut this piece, along with the Poppy Parade tag behind it, using the Tailor Made Tags Dies.  Adhere them together and add to the box with Dimensionals.

Finally, tie a Pool Party Sheer Ribbon bow and add to the sentiment, along with a Pool Party Glossy Dot.

One of my favorite things to do is offer a Buy One, Get One Free Sale at the retreat!!

It's a fun way to spoil everyone that comes for the day :).

Sweet Symmetry Scrapbook Pages

 

Here are some fun, spring pages we made at Scrapbook Class a while ago actually..... I have been meaning to post about them and am glad I'm finally doing it, as many of these items are retiring in just a few days!!

We start our first page with a Basic White base, then added to pieces of the Sweet Symmetry Designer Series Paper to the bottom of our page, along with two pieces of Flirty Flamingo card stock.  I just love all of the fun, bright prints in this DSP - make sure to order this designer paper ASAP as it's retiring on May 2 (or sooner if it sells out before then!)

Next, we stamped "You are perfectly unique" in Night of Navy ink on Basic White card stock using the In Symmetry Stamp Set (unfortunately, this stamp set has already sold out!) and die-cut it with one of the label dies in the Hippo & Friends Dies.  We also die-cut the label behind it using the Hippo & Friends Dies and another fun pattern in the Sweet Symmetry DSP. I am so sad that the Hippo & Friends Dies are retiring - I use the labels dies in this set ALL the time!!

Then, we punched a couple of sprigs from Bumblebee card stock (also retiring!) using the Symmetrical Stems Border Punch and added them to our sentiment.

Finally, we tied a Linen Thread bow and added it to our sentiment.

We also added a couple of Artistry Blooms Sequins to our page, just for a little sparkle.

Here's a peak at our next page....

Again, we start with a Basic White base and added two more patterns in the Sweet Symmetry DSP to the side of our page, along with a couple of pieces of Night of Navy card stock.

We stamped the flower from the In Symmetry Stamp Set in Flirty Flamingo and Night of Navy ink on Basic White card stock.  Next, we layered this piece on top of a Flirty Flamingo piece embossed with the Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder.

Then, we tied a Flirty Flamingo Gold Metallic Ribbon bow and added it to our flower.

Finally, we stamped "best day ever!" in Night of Navy ink on a 1" strip of Basic White card stock.  This time, we punched the sprigs from Rose Gold Metallic Specialty Paper and added another Linen Thread bow to our sentiment.
