Mini Paper Pumpkin Treat Boxes

Hi Everyone!

I hope you're all having a great day today!  I've been enjoying what may be our last few days of summer with my kids - taking the dog on walk, going to a friend's pool, riding our bikes thru the neighborhood and even getting away to the beach for a few days :).  I can't believe the kids may actually go back to school in a little over a week!  I'm not sure they can believe it either!  In the meantime, we're doing everything we can to soak up the last days of summer!  It's been so much fun :).  Are you trying to do the same??  What are you doing to take in the last days of summer??


And....  I wanted to share a fun treat box idea with you today......

These are this month's club member treats, and I just LOVE them!!

We actually made a card like this at last month's Simple, Beautiful Card Class.  This card was a swap I received from Cara Payzant, and I absolutely loved it!!  So, of course, we had to make it at class!

Then, because I couldn't stop admiring the card, I decided to use the layout to decorate these treat boxes, too!

These are the new Mini Paper Pumpkin boxes.

To decorate the box, first we added a piece of the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper to the top of the box.

Next, we punched the ends of a piece of Flowers for Every Season DSP with our Banner Triple Punch and added this piece to the top of the box.

Then, we stamped "You are my Sunshine" in Early Espresso ink on Whisper White card stock using the Ridiculously Awesome Stamp Set and die-cut it with the Stitched Nested Dies.  We added the sentiment to the box with Dimensionals.

Finally, we punched two Bumblebee Daisies with the Daisy Punch, added a couple of Rhinestones to the sentiment and tied a Misty Moonlight Ribbon knot and added it to the box.

So cute!!!!!

One of the great things about these Mini Paper Pumpkin boxes is that they hold our Notecards and Envelopes perfectly inside.

I put one Notecard and Envelope inside each box so that they could see how great they fit!

And... I thought a fun idea might be to give these Mini Paper Pumpkin boxes as Holiday gifts this year.... Just decorate the outside of the box and then add 4 or 5 coordinatingly decorated Notecards and Envelopes!!  How fun would that be!!

Tutti Frutti Narrow Notecards

Aren't these new notecards just too sweet???

I have been having so much fun playing with them!  I can't wait to show you what else I've come up with lately using these notecards!  In the meantime, check out these cute cards that we made recently at the Sale-a-Bration and Occasions Catalog Kickoff Event.  These cards are a CASE (Copy And Share Everything) of some cards I saw on display at our Onstage Live Event in Salt Lake City (I apologize that I did not note the creator's name).  Of course, as soon as I saw them, I knew we'd have to give them a try, too!

Each card starts with a Whisper White Narrow Notecard base, then we added a layer of that super-cute Tutti Frutti Designer Series Paper Stack (DSP) - see all of thee other fun prints in this DSP stack below.  You're going to love this paper stack!!

Then, for this card, we stamped "Beautiful Friend" from the Beautiful Peacock Sale-a-Bration Stamp Set (yours FREE with a $50 order now thru March 31!) in Soft Suede Ink, added those tiny medallions (also from the Beautiful Peacock Stamp Set) and then die-cut our scallop circle with the Layering Circle Framelits.

Here's a closer look at our next card....

This time, we used another fun pattern of the Tutti Frutti DSP Stack to our notecard, stamped "You Warm My Heart" from the Lovely Wishes Stamp Set in Lemon Lime Twist Ink and added a small flower from the Beautiful Peacock Sale-a-Bration Stamp Set.

And here's a closer look at our last card....

Those kiwis look yummy enough to eat!!  This time, we stamped our sentiment, "Wishing You a Lovely Day" (also from the Lovely Wishes Stamp Set) in Early Espresso ink.

Have you noticed the cute envelopes featured with each card??  These narrow envelopes also come in the pack of 20 Narrow Notecards & Envelopes.  For each of the envelopes, we punched out a 2 1/4" Circle Punch (from some of the coordinating prints in the Tutti Frutti Designer Series Paper Stack) and adhered it to the flap of the envelope!
