Oh, What Fun!!

This is one of the cards we made earlier this month at our last Holiday Stamp-a-Stack Class.  This was the last class in a Series of 3 Holiday Stamp-a-Stack Classes.  I was sad to see the last class come to an end....

So, I've decided we need to do another Stamp-a-Stack Class series starting in January....

I was thinking a Thinking of You/Sympathy/Thanks Stamp-a-Stack Series....

Or...  if you have an idea for this next series, leave a comment below and let me know!

Then...  watch for more details coming soon!!

We start our card with a Soft Sky Card base, then added a layer of Cherry Cobbler card stock embossed with the Softly Falling Embossing Folder.

Softly Falling Embossing Folder  139672  $8.50

Next, we die-cut our circles (one in Soft Sky card stock and the other in the gorgeous Season of Cheer Designer Series Paper) using our Circle Framelits.

Season of Cheer Designer Series Paper  139590  $11.00

Circle Framelits  130911  $27.00

Then, we stamped "oh, what fun" from the appropriately-named Oh, What Fun Stamp Set in Cherry Cobbler ink and flagged the end of the banner with our Banner Triple Punch.

Finally, we added a cute (little!) Silver Cording Trim bow to our sentiment.

Oh, What Fun Photopolymer Stamp Set  140386  $21.00

Banner Triple Punch  138292  $23.00

Silver Cording Trim  139620  $5.00

I hope you enjoyed this card!!

Your Presents.... Joy

Oh, what fun this card is....

This is a swap card I made recently.  It was so fun to play with some of my products that I hadn't used much yet.....

Plus, I will always love this traditional color combination for the holidays.....

We start our card with a Real Red card base, then added a layer of Whisper White card stock.

On the left side of the card, we added a strip of the Holidays Fancy Foil Designer Vellum.  Those real red diagonal stripes remind me of a candy cane - what do you think??  Leave me a comment below and let me know!

Holidays Fancy Foil Designer Vellum  139597  $11.00

Next, we added a narrow strip of Garden Green card stock, along with a strip of the Garden Green 1/8" Striped Ribbon.

Real Red & Garden Green 1/8" Striped Ribbon  139615  $8.00

Next, we stamped "joy" (from the Your Presents Stamp Set) on the bottom of our card in Garden Green ink.

Your Presents Stamp Set  wood-mount  139803  $27.00
Your Presents Stamp Set  clear-mount  139608  $19.00

Finally, we made the "ornaments" by stamping them in Garden Green and Real Red ink and punching them out with the 1 1/4" Circle Punch.  The plaid Garden Green ornament was stamped once, re- inked and stamped again in the opposite direction to make the plaid look.  How fun is that!

We also stamped the ornament toppers directly onto our card in Basic Black ink and then adhered our ornaments to the card with Dimensionals.  The ornament strings were hand-drawn with our Garden Green Stampin' Write Marker.

1 1/4" Circle Punch  119861  $16.0

Stampin' Dimensionals  104430  $4.00

Regals Stampin' Write Marker  131262  $29.00

I hope you enjoyed this card!

Thanks so much to Angie Leach for her inspiration on this card.

Embellished Ornaments.... Thinking of You

Here's another gorgeous card for you today...

I just love this new Red Foil Paper  - it is so elegant on this card!!

We start our card with a Whisper White card base, then added a layer of Red Foil Paper, followed by another layer of Whisper White card stock.

Red Foil Sheets  139607  $4.00

Before the top Whisper White layer is added to the card, we die-cut the ornament outline with one of the Delicate Ornament Thinlits.

Delicate Ornament Thinlits  139667  $27.00

Next, we die-cut the intricate ornament piece (a separate Whisper White piece) using the detailed Delicate Ornament Thinlit and our new Precision Base Plate.  We also die-cut the ornament topper using Red Foil Paper and the Delicate Ornament Thinlits.

Both of these pieces were added to the card using our new Fine Tip Glue Pen.  This is the perfect adhesive for small and/or intricate pieces!

Here are a couple of quick videos on the Precision Base Plate:

Precision Base Plate  139684  $25.00

Fine Tip Glue Pen  138309  $7.00

Finally, we stamped "Thinking of You at Christmas" from the Embellished Ornaments Stamp Set (in Real Red ink) on the bottom of our card.

I love how the font of the word "Christmas" seems to mimic the scrolls on the intricate ornament die-cut - they pair so well together.

Embellished Ornaments Stamp Set  wood-mount  139756  $28.00
Embellished Ornaments Stamp Set  clear-mount  139759  $20.00

This stamp set and framelits are also bundled together for a 15% savings on both items.

Embellished Ornaments Bundle  wood-mount  140856  $48.25
Embellished Ornaments Bundle  clear-mount  140857  $41.50

Such a simple, gorgeous card!!

I hope you enjoyed this card!

Snow Place... Let it Snow

This little guy is so stinkin' cute!!  I knew as soon as I saw this card on Mary Fish's blog that we'd be making it at class - and, we did!!  Thanks so much to Mary for her inspiration on this card!!

In you missed this card at class, read on to learn more about it.....

We start our card with a Sahara Sand card base, then added a layer of Cherry Cobbler card stock, followed by a layer of Whisper White card stock.

Next, we stamped "Let it Snow' and those adorable snowflakes (from the Snow Place Set) in Basic Black Archival Ink on the bottom of the card.

We even stamped a few snowflakes inside our card :).

This is what Stampin' Up has to say about our new Basic Black ink pad:  Make a lasting impression with our archival ink. Classic Archival Pads have permanent ink, making them the obvious choice for watercoloring techniques. The innovative ink pad design has a patented flip-top lid and a felt pad to give you a superior stamping experience. Archival ink works equally well with rubber stamps and photopolymer stamps.

Snow Place Photopolymer Stamp Set  139738  $26.00

Basic Black Archival Stamp Pad  140931  $7.00

Next, we stamped our penguin (in Basic Black Archival Ink) and his scarf (in Cherry Cobbler ink) and die-cut these images with the coordinating Snow Friends Framelits.  The Snow Place Stamp Set and Snow Friends Framelits are also bundled together for a 15% savings on both items.

We also added a Rhinestone to the penguin's scarf for a little sparkle.

Snow Friends Framelits  139664  $27.00

Snow Place Bundle  140844  $45.00

Rhinestone Basic Jewels  119246  $5.00

Our cute penguin is layered on top of a number of pieces of card stock (in Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler, Sahara Sand and Basic Black) to really highlight and feature him on this card.

Sooooooo cute!!

I hope you enjoyed this card as much as I did!
