All Occasion Card Class/Club - Wednesday, December 10 - Card #3

This is the next card we'll make at class this week....

It's another clean, simple card!!  I know how busy everyone is this time of year, so I thought it would be good to keep the cards simple and stress-free this month!  Plus, these cards make a great holiday gift!

We start this card with a Whisper White Card base, then embossed a layer of Tangelo Twist card stock using our Decorative Dots Embossing Folder.   Next, we added a strip of the Confetti Celebration Designer Series Paper (DSP) to the side of the card - I just love the design and colors of this DSP! - and a strip of the Tangelo Twist Stitched Satin Ribbon.

Finally, we stamped "hip-hip hooray!" from the Bravo Stamp set and added a Rhinestone to the exclamation point!  The Bravo Stamp set is a very versatile set - with 13 (very large!) sentiments - perfect for a clean, simple card!

All Occasion Card Class/Club - Wednesday, December 10 - Card #2

This is the next card we'll make at the All-Occasion Card Class this week...

I love the clean, simple look of this card!

We start with a Whisper White card base, then added a layer of Blackberry Bliss card stock to top of the card and a layer of the 2014-16 In Color Designer Series Paper Stack (the Blackberry Bliss pattern) to the bottom of the card.  Then, we put a Blackberry Bliss ribbon over the seam between these layers and tied a bow!

Next, we stamped "Cheers" and that cute cocktail glass in Blackberry Bliss ink (from the Happy Hour Stamp Set) and added that fun Olive to the cocktail in Old Olive ink.

All Occasion Card Class/Club - Wednesday, December 10 - Card #1

This is one of the cards we'll be making at our All-Occasion Card Class this week...

I decided to focus on a Masculine theme for this card - it seems we just don't make enough masculine cards for the guys in our lives!

And....  when I first saw the pattern of this Designer Series Paper (from the Santa & Co DSP), it reminded me of a man's sweater - a perfect look for a masculine card!!

We start this card with a Basic Gray Card base, then added a layer of Smoky Slate card stock.  Next, we added that manly strip of DSP to the bottom of the card and tied a Marina Mist 1/4" Cotton Ribbon around it.  I think this ribbon still has a masculine look to it (especially since we didn't tie a bow!)

Our next step to this simple card was to stamp the "happy Big day" in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink (from the Chalk Talk Stamp set) and die-cut it with the coordinating Chalk Talk framelits.  You can buy these items separately, or they are also bundled together for a 15% savings on both items!  Finally, we added a Marina Mist Candy Dot to the sentiment and popped up on Dimensionals.
