Bloomin' Hearts... Be Mine

Ooooooh, this is such a gorgeous card!!

Thanks so much to Mary Fish for her inspiration on this card - of course, as soon as I saw it on Mary's blog, I knew we'd have to make it at class (and we did - this month!).

We start our card with a Crumb Cake card base, then added a layer of Very Vanilla card stock, followed by a layer of Blackberry Bliss card stock.

Next, we die-cut that gorgeous heart using our new Bloomin' Hearts Thinlits Dies and the Precision Base Plate.  The Precision Base Plate adds a little more "oomph" to your Big Shot die sandwich, making working with detailed dies a cinch.  Then, just use the new Big Shot Die Brush to release the extra pieces cut from the heart die with ease!  Finally...  use the Fine Tip Glue Pen to adhere the heart to the card.

Next, we stamped "Be Mine" and that fun banner from the Bloomin' Love Stamp Set and die-cut the banner with our Large Numbers Framelits Dies.  The Bloomin' Love Stamp Set can be purchased separately or in a bundle with the Bloomin' Hearts Thinlits.

We also die-cut the little flowers with the Bloomin' Hearts Thinlits using Blackberry Bliss card stock and Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper.  I am in love with this new glimmer paper - it is gorgeous!!

Finally, we added a pearl to the center of each flower, for a final finishing touch.

Wildflower Fields Scrapbook Pages

Here are two of the pages we'll be making this week at our Scrapbook Class...

I hope you enjoy these pages!!

We start our page with a Whisper White base, then added a couple of strips of the Wildflower Fields Designer Series Paper (DSP) to our page.  You can earn this DSP for FREE with a qualifying $50 order during Sale-a-Bration!!  The colors in this DSP are so fun to play with, especially on this scrapbook page, and coordinate perfectly with our Hello Honey card stock pieces that we also added to our page!

We also added a strip of Hello Honey 5/8" Striped Cotton Ribbon and a piece of the Bohemian Designer Washi Tape to these strips of Designer Series Paper (DSP).  I love how these items coordinate so well with the DSP - that's the beauty of Stampin' Up! products - everything coordinates perfectly because the same colors are used throughout our products!!  It's easy to make great looking pages and projects!!
