Suite Sayings... Thanks for Being You

This is such a pretty card....  I just love these colors together, and I think that awesome, new Watermelon Wonder ribbon is just gorgeous!

Read on to learn more....

We start our card with a Watermelon Wonder card base.  Then, we added that cute "sprinkles" looking paper from the Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper (DSP).  You have to see all of the patterns in this DSP - they are all very soft and feminine.  I really like it (and this look is not something I'm usually drawn to - I guess it's the time of  year!).

Next, we added a strip of that wonderful Watermelon Wonder 1" Stitched Satin Ribbon to our DSP.  Then, we mounted this piece on top of a Blushing Bride piece (this is another color I don't use often - again, it must be the time of year!) and added it to our card with Dimensionals.

Love Blossoms Scrapbook Pages

Here is the 3rd page we made at Scrapbook Class last month.

We had so much fun putting this page together......

We start our page with a Rose Red base, then added 3"x3" squares of the Love Blossoms Designer Series Paper to the top of our page.  This paper stack features some really soft, feminine prints, along with some more traditional valentine prints.

We also added a strip of Whisper White card stock that we punched with our Hearts Border Punch.

Now, check out this gorgeous heart.....

We die-cut our heart using our new Bloomin' Hearts Thinlits Dies and the Precision Base Plate.  The Precision Base Plate adds a little more "oomph" to your Big Shot die sandwich, making working with detailed dies a cinch.  Then, just use the new Big Shot Die Brush to release the extra pieces cut from the heart die with ease!  Finally...  use the Fine Tip Glue Pen to adhere the heart to the page.

 Next, we stamped "XOXO" and that fun banner from the Bloomin' Love Stamp Set and die-cut the banner with our Large Numbers Framelits Dies.  The Bloomin' Love Stamp Set can be purchased separately or in a bundle with the Bloomin' Hearts Thinlits.

 

We also die-cut the little flowers with the Bloomin' Hearts Thinlits using Rose Red card stock and Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper.  I am in love with this new glimmer paper - it is gorgeous!!

Finally, we added a pearl to the center of each flower, for a final finishing touch.

You'll see that the format along the top of the page is similar to the previous page (we just used a few different patterns in the Love Blossoms Designer Series Paper Stack).

Next, we added a couple of strips of the Love Blossoms Designer Series Paper to the side of our page, after we punched them with our Banner Triple Punch.  It sure does seem like I use this punch ALL the time - it really is a must-have!

We also added a strip of Pearls from the Love Blossoms Embellishment Kit, along with some of that gorgeous Blushing Bride Satin Ribbon (also from this Embellishment Kit).  I just tacked the string of pearls to our page with Mini Glue Dots and then used Snail Adhesive for the ribbon.  

Check out all of the fun items in the Love Blossoms Embellishment Kit - I especially love the pretty pink bows attached to the paper clips (see all of the embellishments in the kit below)!

You may have noticed that we used some of the sequins from this kit on the bottom of our first page, too (around our heart).

Finally, we stamped our heart and "Love You" banner in Rose Red and Blushing Bride ink, respectively (these images are also found in the Bloomin' Love Stamp set).  The heart was punched using our 2 1/2" Circle Punch and then layered on top of a piece of Blushing Bride card stock die-cut with our Circle Framelits.

We also stamped those flowers (from the Bloomin' Heart set) behind our heart/banner piece in Rose Red ink and added a mini wooden heart element from the Love Blossoms Embellishment kit for our final, finishing touches.
