New Catalog Kickoff and Buy One, Get One Free Event - July 21, 2011

This first card features one of the new 2011-2013 In Colors - Island Indigo (and 2010-2012 In Color, Pear Pizzazz).  I absolutely LOVE this color!!  Plus, just saying the name makes me happy :).  I guess because it transports me to some exotic locale!!  The greeting is from the new Delightful Dozen stamp set - this is the new, very versatile, something for all-occasions stamp set.  I love all of the stamps in this set and will use it for years and many occassions to come!  I also used the new Island Indigo 3/8" Ruffled ribbon - this ribbon is awesome!!  I am offering a ribbon share (where you get 2 yards each of all 5 new In Colors) for $13.00.  Please let me know if you'd like to participate in this ribbon share!  One last note - I used the Embosnew Stripes Textured Impressions Embossing Folder as well - adds a nice touch, don't you think?

This next card features a few products from the Summer Mini....  Nautical Expedition Designer Series Paper, Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine and the Sail Away individual stamp.  I really loved how this card captured the feel of summer!!  The sentiment is from the Bring of the Cake stamp set - this set features 13 different ways to say Happy Birthday!! A must-have stamp set in my book!!  Finally, I used my new Color Spritzer to add a little "texture" to my crumb cake card stock - I know it's a little hard to see in this picture, but it sure was fun squeezing that little bulb and seeing the ink fly!!

The last card we made featured the new 2011-2013 In Color, Lucky Limeade (we also used Rich Razzleberry) and the new stamp set Creative Elements - the swirls and curls in this set (as well as the flowers and butterfly) are gorgeous!!  We also ran our card stock through the Square Lattice Textured Impressions Embossing Folder after we stamped it - I just love this technique!!  The sentiment is also from the Bring on the Cake stamp set.  I am also in love with the Designer buttons - I think I've now bought them in all collections (so you might seem them again sometime soon)!!

I also want to thank all of my friends and customers for coming to my first ever New Catalog Kickoff and Buy 1, Get 1 Free Event!!  I had a lot of fun planning this event and was glad to have so many of you stop by to see what it was all about!!  I promise to have even more stamp sets to choose from next year!!  I couldn't quite part with too many of them this year, but now I have all year long to use and enjoy them!!  And then I'll be ready to offer them to you next year!!

Thanks for all of your support!!

Last Chance Event - June 23, 2011

These are all cards we had at my "Last Chance Event" on June 23.  These stamp sets are all retiring on June 30th, so I had to use them one last time before they're gone forever!

What  a cute card!  I loved these colors together (Melon Mambo, Pacific Point, Old Olive, Tempting Turquoise, Tangerine Tango, and Daffodil Delight) - they are such bright, fun colors!  This sentiment ("May your layers be many and your frosting be thick") is one I'm going to miss from the Birthday Bliss set!

This card was created with the Friends 24-7 Stamp Set. It is such a beautiful set!  I will surely miss it!!

Since this event was so close the the 4th of July, I had to have a card appropriate for the occasion!

I just love the swirls on this card (made with on of the Textured Impressions Embossing Folders and the Big Shot)!  The pearls fit so perfectly in the little curves as well!

This little birdie is soooooo cute!

This stamp set (Birthday Bliss, again!) may be gone, but that beautiful, red, sparkly paper is still available!  It's called Glimmer paper and can be found on page 181 of the new 2011-2012 Idea Book and Catalog!

I originally made this as a thank you card, but then I looked at it again...  Do you see the "Love Bird"??  So, I decided to make it as an Anniversary card instead!  This set is the Punch Potpourri Hostess Set - what a beautiful stamp set!

These last 4 cards are all made from the "On a Pedestal" stamp set.  I thought it would be fun to show how many different ways you can use this stamp set!  I just love it!!  The cherry might be my favorite part!

I hope you enjoyed these cards as much as I did!  I'm going to miss them all!

Examples of Scrapbook Pages we could do in my New Club!

I just put a few examples of pages I made in a quick 12x12 scrapbook last winter.  Most of these pages are all about the fabulous Designer Series Paper!  I had been "collecting" my paper for a few years and wanted to make sure that I preserved some of my favorite pages in a scrapbook album.  So, most of what you see has little detail other than the paper.  We will definitely add some additional touches to the pages we'll do in club this year and do a lot more stamping!!  What fun!!

Please let me know if you have any questions about these pages or are interested in joining my
Scrapbook Club that begins on August 25!

Hope you enjoyed!

Examples of Big Shot/3-D Items that we could do in my New Club!!

Here are a few examples of 3-D Items we've done at classes that I've attended in the past.  I wanted to put these examples on my blog for those of you who weren't sure what we'd be doing in my Big Shot/3-D Item Stamping Club each month.  We may not do these exact projects, but this should give you an idea of what to expect!  There are so many great ideas out there!  This would be a fabulous way to create gifts for friends and family for the holidays, birthdays or any special occasion!  You can take what you learn in club and then make more projects at home!

This first project is a mini-album we created for Father's Day a few years ago at a class held by a friend named Robin.  This album holds about 6 pages total (front and back, so 12 pictures in all) - can you see my son Cade peaking out of one of the pages?

This next project is a simple Tri-fold Photo Holder that I made with another friend named Roxann.  The first picture is the front of the photo holder, and the second picture is the inside of the photo holder.  You just add the pictures!

This next project is called a Photo Star/Holder.  It is a book that opens up to the shape of a "star"!  You can lay it flat on a table or open it up to see all of the pictures!

I love this next project!!  I'm not even sure what to call it, but it is awesome!!
I couldn't get the whole thing in one picture, so it shows up here in two separate pictures.  It is an acordian folding photo album, I guess I'd say!  This is another project that you could fold closed (to about half it's size) or keep it open to display your photos.  Either way, it's beautiful!

This last project is another favorite of mine!  This is a photo-holder I created to put my kids' school pictures in!  It is made with Stampin' Up chipboard pieces and then covered with one of my favorite Designer Series Papers!

Please let me know if you have any questions about the projects you see here or would like to join my
Big Shot/3-D Item Stamping Club that begins on August 31st!

I hope you enjoyed!
