6x6 Scrapbook Class - May 12 at 7pm

Ok, so these are the scrapbooks we made at class last week.  I have a few left, so I'm going to do the class again on May 12 at 7pm.  These books are so cute!  Please let me know if you'd like to make one with us!

This first book would be a great "brag book" for any mom or grandma.  The colors are perfect for either a boy or a girl.

Here are a couple of the inside pages:

This next book would be great for pictures of your kids or grandkids.  The colors are so vibrant in this book!  The paper and die cuts are called "Celebrations".  My idea for this book is to put pictures of each of my kids birthdays in it - The first two-page spread is their first birthday, and each birthday thereafter will go on the next two-page spread!   I think I'll do one book for Lilly, and a separate book for Cade!

This last book has wonderful summer fun colors in it!  I think I'll use this book for pictures of my kids at the lake in the summer.  It would be great to put pictures from a warm weather vacation in as well!

The best part about these books is that you make them in one evening and can take them home and fill them with pictures - it's that easy!  Please let me know if you'd like to join us on Thursday, May 12 at 7pm!  You can email me at amy.frillici@yahoo.com.

I hope to see you soon!

Easter Cards!

I took a few minutes last weekend to make some Easter Cards!  They were made using some no-longer available stamp sets and designer series paper, so I can't demonstrate them in a class, but they were still so fun to make!  They are for sale now (as are all of my cards on this blog), if you need an Easter card.....  They are $3.00 each or 2 for $5.00.  Here are some examples:

I hope you all have a Happy Easter!!

6x6 Scrapbook Class - April 27 at 7pm

Here is a sneak peek at the 6x6 scrapbooks we will be making at my next class on Wednesday, April 27.  This first item is an example of the scrapbook itself.  I made this one a few years ago, so we won't be using these exact colors, but I thought this would you give an idea of the book we will be making.....  The books should each be about 10 pages long (double-sided).

These are the actual colors/items we will be using:

The first is from the "Celebrations" Designer Series Paper and Quick Accents.  The colors are Pacific Point, Pear Pizzazz, Bashful Blue and Real Red - very bright, fun colors!!

The next is from the "Nursery Suite Specialty Designer Series Paper and Quick Accents.  The colors are Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip, Pear Pizzazz, Regal Rose and So Saffron.  This would be great for any new mom/dad or grandmother/grandfather.  The paper and accents are so sweet!

The last example is from the upcoming Summer Mini Catalog.  We will use the Playful Polka Dots Simply Scrappin Kit for this scrapbook.  The colors are Pumpkin Pie, Rose Red, Daffodil Delight and Old Olive.  They are great summer fun colors!!

For the class, I will put an example of each of these scrapbooks together using the paper and accents (which are heavy weight self-adhesive die cuts). When you come to class, you just put your book together following my example or make up your own, if you like!  You just insert the pictures once you get your book home!  They are so much fun to make and so much fun to give as gifts to others!

Please email me at amy.frillici@yahoo.com if you are interested in attending class on Wednesday, April 27!

I hope to see you soon!

Card Class - April 14, 2011

Here are the cards we made last Thursday, April 14 at my most recent card class.  We had a great group of gals there that night - lots of new faces - what fun!!

I made this first card at a class with Ronda Wade last month.  I changed the sentiment to an Easter theme by using the "Easter Wishes" stamp from the Hostess Set, "Something to Celebrate" in the Occassions Mini Catalog.  This stamp set is very versatile - it includes a Happy Mother's Day, Happy Father's Day, Welcome Baby, Happy Anniversary, Congratulations, Sweet Valentine and two birthday stamps.  It is only available until April 30th, so place your order today if you are interested in this set!  We also used the Two-step Owl punch to create the tulips - how clever!

This next card is for the golfer in your life!  I loved this color combination - early espresso, marina mist and garden green!  We used the Square Lattice Textured Impressions Embossing Folder on the garden green piece - it almost looks like turf or grass, doesn't it??  The stamp, "On the Green", is one that I got during Sale-a-bration - it's still available and is an a la carte stamp (meaning it is sold alone) for only $9.95!

Don't you just love this card!!  I found it while browsing a blog I follow.  The Chocolate Chip striped piece (from the Neutrals Patterns Designer Series Paper Stack) almost looks like a candy wrapper!  The sentiment says "All you need in life is a friend who has chocolate."  The inside of the cards says "...I'm that friend."  This stamp is from the set "Eat Chocolate" from the Occassions Mini Catalog (available until April 30th!).  We used the Scallop Rectange Clearlit Die to make the pink scallped piece - I think it creates a nice touch.  And the blushing bride 1/2" poly-stitched ribbon is soooooo nice to work with - I love it!

This last card is a Happy Mother's Day card - the sentiment is also from the "Something to Celebrate" hostess set in the Occassions Mini catalog that I mentioned above.  The font on each of these stamps is just perfect for each occassion!  We used the new Framed Tulips Textured Impressions Embossing Folder to outline the edge of the Rose Red piece.  The flower was created using the new Blossom Petals Punch and the "Build A Blossom" stamp set in the Occassions Mini Catalog.  I don't think I realized how many items I used from the Occassions Mini Catalog for this month's class until I just created this blog....!!  There are so many great new items to play with!  Again, if you are interested in any of these items, they are only available until April 30th!!  Contact me today if you'd like to place an order at amy.frillici@yahoo.com.

I hope you enjoyed!
