Fancy Flora Calendars

 

Hi Friends!!!!

I've been meaning to post about these cute calendars for quite some time now!!  

And... it's FINALLY time!!

I made these as club member treats and also sent them to all of my team members, the Inkspired Stampers :).

I really wanted to feature the new Fancy Flora Designer Series Paper on these calendars, and I'm so happy I did!!  You can see three different patters of this gorgeous DSP on the calendars here.

I think the calendars turned out beautifully.  And I hope you agree :).

I started with a 4 1/4" x 11" piece of Orchid Oasis card stock and scored it at 5 1/2".

Next, I stamped a couple of  flowers in Orchid Oasis ink using the Color & 
Contour Stamp Set.

Then, I adhered a 4 1/4" x 3" piece of the Fancy Flora Designer Series Paper to the bottom of this piece.

Next, I cut another Orchid Oasis piece of card stock to 4 1/4" x 5" and scored it at 1", 2 1/2" and 4".  This piece creates the inside "stand" of the card.  Just adhere the 2 outside 1" flaps to the inside of the 11" piece to create the stand.

I also tied a Pool Party Sheer Ribbon bow around the Designer Series Paper.

After this, I mounted the calendar on a piece of 3 1/8" x 2 3.8" Orchid Oasis card stock and then adhered it to the Designer Series Paper.

Then, I stamped "You Matter to So Many" in Orchid Oasis ink on Basic White card stock using the Something Fancy Stamp Set.  There are so many great sentiments in this stamp set!  You can see them all below.  

I also stamped another flower from the Color & Contour Stamp Set on this sentiment piece in Pool Party ink.

Next, I die-cut the sentiment, along with a Fresh Freesia Fine Shimmer label behind it, using the Something Fancy Dies.  This is a MUST HAVE die-set - there are so many great labels in it!!

Finally, I added two Iridescent Pastel Gems to the sentiment.  These are my absolute FAVORITE new embellishment in the Mini Catalog.  The colors are just gorgeous!!

Sunshine & Rainbows 2022 Calendars

 

Here are some fun calendars I made recently for all of my club members and team members!!

I LOVE making cute little gift items like this.... it just makes me happy to put a smile on someone's face with these fun little treat ideas :).

I started the calendar base with a piece of Misty Moonlight cardstock that measures 4 1/4" x 11" and scored it at 5 1/2" (just like a regular card base!).  Next, I cut a piece of Misty Moonlight card stock measuring 5" x 4 1/4" and scored it (along the 5" side) at 1", 2 1/2" and 4".  Put adhesive on the back side of the two 1" tabs on either end and adhere to the bottom inside of the "card base", making a mountain fold at the 2 1/2" score mark.

Next, I added a 4 1/4" x 3" piece of our super-cute new Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Series Paper  (DSP) to the bottom of the calendar piece.  The stripes and polka dot patterns worked perfectly for these calendars!

Then, I die-cut a piece of Granny Apple Green card stock using the Scalloped Contours Dies and adhered it to the Misty Moonlight piece.  Next, I tied a piece of Polished Pink Open Weave Ribbon  around the calendar and tied it in a knot.

Next, I stamped "you are perfectly unique" from the In Symmetry Stamp Set in Misty Moonlight ink on Basic White card stock.  I die-cut this circle, along with the Misty Moonlight scallop circle behind it, using the Layering Circles Dies.  Adhere the circles together and add them to the piece with Dimensionals.

I also added a couple of the Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the top of the piece (for a little sparkle!)

Finally, I cut a 3 1/8" x 2 3/5" piece of Granny Apple Green card stock, adhered it behind the calendar and then adhered the calendar to the base.

Stampin' Up! Lily Impressions Calendar

Hi Friends!

 I made some fun calendars this year!  I gave them to my downline that attended our shoebox swap back in December.  See the link below for more info about joining my downline and becoming an Inksprired Stamper.

I have seen so many cute versions of these calendars over the years!  I finally decided to order some (you can get them at tayloredexpressions.com - they're called 2020 mini tear-off calendars) and give it a try myself, and I love how they turned out!

I started with a piece of Bermuda Bay card stock measuring 4 1/4" x 11", and scored it at 5 1/2" (it starts out like a regular card base).


Next, I stamped the lilies (from the Lovely Lily Pad Stamp Set) in Bermuda Bay ink on the top half of this piece.

At the bottom of this piece, I added a 2 3/4" x 4 1/4" piece of Lily Impressions Designer Series Paper (DSP).  This DSP is another item you can get for FREE with a $50 order during Sale-a-Bration!

Then, I tied a bow around the DSP using the Metallic Baker's Twine from the Sale-a-Bration offering (yet another awesome item you can get for FREE with a $50 order during Sale-a-Bration!).  I love these two colors of twine together, and the metallic thread adds a little pizzaz to the twine, too.

You also need a 4 1/4" x 5" piece of Bermuda Bay card stock.  Score this piece at 1", 2 1/2" x 4".  This is the accordian fold piece that fits at the inside, bottom of your calendar.

You can see it better here.  Add Tear & Tape to the two outside 1" flaps and adhere to the inside of the base.

Next, we stamped "Kindness is Always in Style" (from one of my most favorite stamp sets in the new Spring Mini Catalog!, Dressed to Impress) in Blackberry Bliss ink on Whisper White cards stock and punched it out with the 1 1/2" Circle Punch.

We layered this circle on top of a Blackberry Bliss circle die-cut with the Layering Circles Dies and added it to the calendar with Dimensionals.

Then, we added three Noble Peacock Rhinestones to the calendar.  These Rhinestones coordinate perfectly with the Lily Impressions Designer Series Paper.  I know I will be buying A LOT of these rhinestones!

Finally, we cut a 3 1/8" x 2 3/8" piece of Blackberry Bliss card stock, adhered the calendar to it using Tear & Tape and then added these pieces to the base using more Tear & Tape.

I hope you enjoyed this calendar!  I sure have had fun making and giving them to everyone this year :).
