Happy Thanksgiving to You!!!!

In honor of Thanksgiving today, I thought I'd share some scrapbook pages we made last month at our Scrapbook Class.  These pages would be perfect to fill with pictures and memories you make today!

Our first page starts with a Rich Razzleberry base, then we added a strip of the Petals & Paisleys Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) to the side of our page.  I love the cute (tiny) fall flowers, leaves and acorns on this paper!

Next, we added a Delightful Dijon ribbon along the side of the DSP and made a bow at the bottom of our page.  This ribbon is so easy to work with (and makes beautiful bows, don't you think??).

We also stamped those fun paisleys (from the Paisleys & Posies Stamp Set) in Rich Razzleberry ink along the bottom of our page.

At the top corner of our page, we added a piece of Delightful Dijon card stock, then layered a piece of Very Vanilla card stock over it.  We also embossed our Very Vanilla piece using the Pretty Paisleys Embossing Folder.

Then, we stamped "Thankful Grateful Blessed" from the Paisleys & Posies Set in Rich Razzleberry ink and die cut this piece with our Layering Oval Framelits.  We also stamped those beautiful flowers (also from the Paisleys &  Posies set) in Night of Navy, Delightful Dijon and Cajun Craze ink an die-cut them with the coordinating Paisley Framelits.  This stamp set and framelits are 10% off when you buy them together in the bundle!

And here's a look at our next page.....

We start this page with a Delightful Dijon base, then added another strip of the Petals & Paisleys Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) to the side of our page.  We also added a strip of Very Vanilla card stock along the edge of our DSP to make it pop.

At the top of our page, we stamped more fun images from the Paisleys & Posies Stamp Set in Delightful Dijon ink and also added a piece of Night of Navy card stock that we stamped with a few more paisleys.




And...  at the bottom corner of our page, we added a piece of the gorgeous (I can't get enough of it!) Night of Navy and Copper Embossed Petals & Paisleys Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP).

We also added a strip of the Very Vanilla and Copper Embossed Polka Dot DSP (from the same pack of paper) to the Night of Navy piece.  Then, we added a strip of the Copper Foil Sheets and tied a Very Vanilla 1/2" Lace Trim bow around this piece.

Finally, we die-cut a Night of Navy and Very Vanilla Paisley using our Paisley Framelits, then added them to our copper embossed piece.  I love how these images, stamps and framelits all work so well together - that's the beauty of coordination with Stampin' Up products :).

Paisleys & Posies... Thankful Grateful Blessed

This was such a great card to make!!  I saw it on Erica Cerwin's Pink Buckaroo blog a little while ago - it was so much fun to work with the Fancy Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper on this card!

Read on to learn all about it!!

We start our card with a Night of Navy card base, then added a layer of Whisper White card stock.  Next, we added a layer of the Fancy Frost Designer Series Paper (DSP) to our card.

Before we actually added this DSP layer to our card, we stamped it with the Paisleys & Posies Stamp Set in Versamark ink, then embossed the stamps with Clear Embossing Powder and our Heat Tool.

Next, we lightly sponged Night of Navy ink on our DSP with our Sponge Daubers - notice how it accents the diagonal stripes of the DSP and doesn't stick to the embossed images.  It's so cool - and something I never would have thought to do!  Thanks so much to Erica Cerwin for this fabulous idea :)

Then, we stamped "Thankful Grateful Blessed" and one of the cute flower medallions (both from the Paisleys & Posies Stamp Set) in Night of Navy ink on another strip of Whisper White card stock,  We die-cut our flower medallion with the coordinating Paisley Framelits.  You can buy the stamp set and framelits separately, or save 10% when you buy the bundle!

Finally, we added a Calypso Coral Thick Baker's Twine bow around our card and accented our flower medallion with a Calypso Coral Enamel Shape.  And that's the beauty of Stampin' Up products - that color coordination among product lines that helps create simple, beautiful cards with ease!

3D Project/Big Shot/Gift Item Class/Club - Thursday, October 23

These are the beautiful fall projects we made at our 3D Project/Big Shot Class the other night.

I just love them all!!

This first project is a perfect gift for a Thanksgiving table setting.....

We start this project with chocolate!!  A perfect way to start any project!!  

Stack up 7 mini Hershey candy bars and wrap a piece of Burlap Ribbon up and around them (fan them out like turkey feathers!).  Staple the pieces together (with our Handheld Stapler) at the top of the stack to hold them in place.

Next, stamp "hope your Thanksgiving is stuffed with Happiness" from the Mingle All the Way Stamp Set in Early Espresso ink (on our new Kraft card stock).  This new Kraft Card Stock is heavier than our regular card stock with natural Kraft coloring.  We punched this piece out with our 2" Circle Punch and mounted it on a 2 3/8" Scallop Circle Early Espresso punched piece.  We also punched a small hole through the stop of our circle piece with our 1/4" Circle Handheld Punch and put a Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon piece through the hole - this piece is tied together with a White & Tangerine Tango Two-Tone Twine bow.

Finally, we stamped our pumpkin in Tangerine Tango ink and our leaves in Old Olive ink - both stamps are from the Fall Fest Stamp Set.  These pieces were die-cut with the coordinating Fun Fall Framelits.  These 2 items are bundled together for a 15% savings on both items.  Then, we added these cute pieces to our "turkey".  I just love this treat, how about you??

And here's a beautiful fall card to share with someone you love this holiday season....

We start this card with a Crushed Curry Card base, then added a (4 x 5 1/4") layer of Cajun Craze card stock, followed by a (3 3/4 x 5") layer of Very Vanilla card stock.  Next, we added a strip of the Color Me Autumn Designer Series Paper to the bottom of the card, along with a piece of the Venetian Crochet Trim.

Then, the real fun begins...  we used our Wonderous Wreath Stamp Set and coordinating Wonderful Wreath Framelits dies (bundled together for a 15% savings on both!) to make that gorgeous wreath!!  First, we stamped the full wreath in Crushed Curry ink, then we stamped the additional leaves in Pumpkin Pie ink, then the berries in Cajun Craze ink.  We also stamped the bow in Cajun Craze ink.

Finally, we stamped the "Give Thanks" stamp (from our Holiday Invitation Stamp Set) in Cajun Craze ink and added it to our wreath!

This last project features the new Curvy Keepsake Box - it is so simple and fun to put together!!  Just cut two pieces of Crumb Cake card stock, adhere the bottom pieces together with a strong adhesive like Fast Fuse or Sticky Strip and assemble the box - step-by-step directions are included with the die - you'll love it!!

Next, we cut our Mossy Meadow, Blackberry Bliss, Tangelo Twist card stock and Champagne Glimmer Paper using the Autumn Accents Bigz Die.

We also stamped "Grateful for You" in Blackberry Bliss ink using our Merry Everything Stamp set.  Then, we punched this piece out using the coordinating Note Tag punch.  These two items are bundled together for a 15% savings on both items!!

Finally, we tied a couple of pieces of our twine from the Burlap Ribbon (see this idea here) in a bow and added them to the box.
