Merry Christmas.... Be the Star

Here's one last Christmas card for you this year!!

Since this card features product found in the Annual Catalog, maybe it's something to consider for next year's holiday cards....  it's never too early to start planning, I'd say!!

We start our card with a Crumb Cake card base, then added another layer of Crumb Cake card stock embossed with the Large Polka Dot Embossing Folder.

We sponged this top layer with some Crumb Cake ink and our Sponge Daubers, just to give it a little depth.

We also added a strip of Cherry Cobbler 1 1/4" Striped Grograin Ribbon to this piece, along with (half of) a Tea Lace Paper Doily.

Next, we stamped our fun stars in Cherry Cobbler and Mossy Meadow ink (I love these two colors together!) from the Be the Star Stamp Set.  The stars were die-cut with the coordinating Star Framelits.  These items are bundled together for a 15% savings on both items!!

Finally, we added a Winter Wonderland Embellishment to our large Mossy Meadow Star and stamped "Merry Christmas" from the Petite Pairs Stamp Set.

Your Presents Meets Holly Jolly Wishes

This is a make-n-take card I offered at an event I did last month.

This really has been one of my favorite color combinations this holiday season - I think the Soft Suede ink and card stock complement the gold ribbon perfectly!  - and they both pop against the crisp Whisper White background!

We start our card with a Whisper White card base, then added a layer of Soft Suede card stock, followed by another layer of Whisper White card stock (you probably already figured that out!).

Next, we stamped......

-the large snowflake (from the Holly Jolly Greetings set) in Soft Suede ink

-the smaller snowflakes (from the Flurry of Wishes set) in Soft Suede ink

-the sprinkles of snow (from the Holly Jolly Greetings set) in Soft Sky ink

Then, we added a Gold Satin Ribbon bow to the card.  This ribbon is just gorgeous!!  It adds a really nice touch of elegance to the card.

We also stamped "joy" from the Your Presents set and punched it out with the 2" Circle Punch.  This piece was popped up on Dimesionals and added to the card.

Embellished Ornaments Scrapbook Pages

Here are 2 of  our gorgeous Christmas Scrapbook Pages...

We made this first page last month at class, then check out the page below that we'll make this month as class.....

We start our page with a Whisper White base, then added a strip of the Season of Cheer Designer Series Paper to the side of our page.

We also stamped "Happy Christmas" from the Oh, What Fun Stamp Set and die-cut it with our Oval Framelits.  This piece was layered on top of another Mossy Meadow Oval piece.

Next, we added 2 pieces of Mossy Meadow card stock to our page and then added a Home for Christmas Designer Button to the bottom of one piece, along with a bow made from the Gold Cording Trim.

We used a similar layout with the White base and a strip of Season of Cheer Designer Series paper along the side of the page.  We also added another one of the Home for Christmas Designer Buttons to one of our Real Red card stock pieces (and tied it with more Gold Cording Trim!).

Along the top of both pages, we stamped and/or die-cut our amazing ornaments using the Embellished Ornaments Stamp Set and coordinating Delicate Ornament Thinlits.

This first page also features the gorgeous Red Foil Sheets on one of our ornaments.

Sparkly Seasons... Falala

Merry Christmas to All!!!

I think this toy soldier does a good job of saying just that, don't you agree??

What fun this card was to make.  Read on to learn all about it!

We start our card with a Whisper White card base, then added a layer of another of my favorite Designer Series Papers (DSP) - the Merry Moments DSP, that is!  

I think this is the perfect holiday plaid!!

Next, we stamped the toy soldier & his presents and the outline of the snow globe in Basic Black Archival Ink (from the Sparkly Seasons Photopolymer Stamp Set).  We also stamped the base of our snow globe in Delightful Dijon Ink and the "snow" in Smoky Slate ink.

Both of these pieces were die-cut with our Seasonal Frame Thinlits Dies.

This stamp set and framelits are also bundled together for a 15% savings on both items!

Then, we colored the toy soldier and the gifts in with our Real Red and Old Olive Stampin' Write Markers.  The Black Archival ink is a permanent ink, so it won't run when you color over with markers or watercolor with it.

We also die-cut that awesome "falala" using our Seasonal Frame Thinlits Dies and added it to our card with the new Fine Tip Glue Pen.

Finally, we added some Gold Cording Trim to the base of the snow globe.  This Gold Cording Trim has been so much fun to play with this season - I'm really going to miss it!
