Hilton Head Swaps

Here are the swaps I made for my first-ever Stampin' Up Incentive Trip this past weekend!  We had a blast and relaxed a ton!!  I can't tell you the last time I've gotten that much sleep!!  And it was so nice to spend some quality time with my family :).
Now I'm feeling like I need to be productive again...!
This first swap features the Perfectly Preserved Bundle of products.

.
You can purchase the Perfectly Preserved Stamp set and Cannery Set framelits and save 15% when you buy both as a bundle.
Perfectly Preserved Clear-Mount Bundle
Perfectly Preserved Bundle  wood-mount  129943  $44.95

I also love how the Orchard Harvest Designer Series Paper sets the color pallete for the entire card - this is card-making 101.....  Just pick a sheet of DSP that fits the mood of the season or the card you want to create and then build your card and colors from there!

This next swap card is one that I featured earlier this summer at my New Catalog Kickoff!  I loved being able to use the fun new colors, Primrose Petals and Summer Starfruit, in this card and thought it would be fun to share it with some new friends in Hilton Head!

I also used the Everything Eleanor stamp set, one that we received at Leadership back in January, for this card as well.  I love the flourishes and flowers in this set!

I hope you enjoyed these cards!!  It's back to reality tomorrow for me and my family!!  We've had a great trip, but it's always nice to go home, too!!

I thought I'd take a quick minute to let you all know that.....

My cards are available for purchase at the Purple Pear in downtown Alma!!

They're available for $3.99 each!!  That's a steal for a beautiful hand-crafted card!!

I stopped by the store today to take some pictures of the beautiful front window displays.  I'm sure you've all seen lots of my cards, so I thought this would be a nice treat!!

I just love this bike!!  I think I might need one for my garden....

It's homecoming week here in Alma, so all of the businesses are showing their Panther Pride this week :).

If you've been wondering what I've been talking about, emailing about, or posting to Facebook about.........., you should check it all out at the Purple Pear!!  These cards are all great examples of the types of cards we make in classes and at private home parties!!  And, believe me, even if you think you're not crafty and can't do this sort of thing, I'm proof that you can!!  I'm sure I don't really have the "crafting gene" either, but Stampin' Up makes it so easy to create beautifully coordinated projects with their coordinating card stock, ink, ribbon, brads, and designer series paper!!

I'd love for you to purchase these cards at the Purple Pear and then try your hand at it yourself and come to a class!!  I've got something for everyone!!

Scrapbook Class/Club - Tuesday, September 25

Here are the pages we'll be making at the next Scrapbook Class/Club on Tuesday, September 25.  If you'd like to join us, just say so!!  Email me at amy.frillici@yahoo.com or call (989) 330-0259!  New people are always welcome!!
This first page may look pretty similar to the post I did on our Scrapbook pages from last month...  That's because I'm trying to coordinate the pages so that they go really well with each other from one month to the next - then you end up with a very cohesive scrapbook when you put all the pages together!  Plus I love this Floral District Designer Series Paper and the new 1/4" Stitched Grograin Ribbon (shown in Daffodil Delight here)!!

Floral District Designer Series Paper
Floral District DSP  126919  $10.95
Daffodil Delight 1/4" Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon
Daffodil Delight 1/4" Stitched Grograin Ribbon  126872  $4.95
These next two pages turn the calendar to fall.  The Comfort Cafe Designer Series Paper works perfectly for these "fall" feeling pages!!

Comfort Café Designer Series Paper
Comfort Cafe DSP  126898  $10.95
Sorry, you really can't even tell that the top strip of DSP on this Midnight Muse page is the beautiful striped Pool Party and Very Vanilla page from the DSP pack above - it looks so good in person!!  BTW, these pages were both inspired by a Scrapbook Page that Becky Roberts had on display at Convention this summer.

We also used the Floral Frames Framelits with along with the Daydream Medallions Stamp Set (a stamp set we received for FREE at Convention this summer!).  This stamp set coordinates perfectly with these framelits and makes die-cutting a snap!  I also used those big pearls (technically called Large Pearl Basic Jewels) that I've had in my craft closet for a loooong time now - they are beautiful and just got buried behind some other things - so glad I discovered them again!!  And the Naturals Designer Buttons are the perfect compliment to the DSP as well!

Floral Frames Framelits Dies

Floral Frames Framelits  127012  $26.95

Daydream Medallions Wood-Mount Stamp Set

Daydream Medallions  wood-mount  126465  $36.95

Just let me know if you'd like to make these pages, too!!  It is so easy!! I do all the prep work for you!  You just come put your pages together!!  And, at the end of 10 months, you'll have a beautiful 30 page scrapbook that you can fill with pictures of family and friends!!

Hope to see you soon!!

3D Project/Big Shot Class - Monday, September 24

Here are the projects we'll be making next Monday, September 24 at our 3D Project/Big Shot Class!!  They are each so fun!!
The first project is one that Sara Douglas demonstrated for us at Convention in July.  Of course, I've been wanting to put it together since then and just got the chance!  The colors aren't nearly as vibrant on the picture as they are in person.  You'll just have to come to class and see how good they really look together!!

The kraft box is covered with the larger scallop square from the Scallop Squares Duo Bigz die cut with the Big Shot. The Designer Series Paper is the Orchard Harvest DSP featured in the Holiday catalog. Then we stamped the Labels in Raspberry Ripple and Early Espresso with the Layered Labels stamp set and cut/punched them out with the Apothecary Accents Framelits and the Large Oval and Scallop Oval punches.

This next project was demonstrated by Shelli Gardner (Stampin' Up's co-founder and CEO) at Convention this year!  I knew I wanted to try it as soon as I saw it!!  And, it's a great card to do at the Big Shot class because it uses lots of dies and impression folders for the Big Shot!!
This is such a fun, new stamp set in the Holiday Catalog.  It's called Friendship Preserves.  The best part about it.....  it coordinates perfectly with the Window Frames Collection Framelit Dies and the Festive Paper Piercing Pack.  Such a great suite of products!!  And... the stamp set and framelits can be purchased in a bundle and you'll save 15% off!!
Friendship Preserves Wood-Mount Bundle

Festive Paper-Piercing Pack
Festive Paper Piercing Pack  127857  $7.95
This last project is a simple one, but I love how it turned out!  I really wanted to show how easy it is to use our fabric on a card - just cut a one inch strip of fabric and tie!!  The idea for this card came from a card I saw on Ronda Wade's training blog.  We start with a Pool Party card, add a layer of Summer Starfruit and then stamp the swirl from the Everything Eleanor Stamp set in Soft Suede on the Whisper White layer.
Do you see how perfectly the strip of Designer Series Fabric coordinates with the layers on the card??  It's no coincidence...  All of the colors in the card were taken from the strip of fabric - that's the beauty of Stampin' Up products - and something you won't find anywhere else - everything coordinates perfectly!!

I hope you enjoyed these projects!!  If you'd like to attend class on Monday, September 24 and make these projects for yourself, just RSVP to amy.frillici@yahoo.com or call (989) 330-0259.  Hope to see you soon!!

Halloween Party & Class - Friday, Sept 21

Take a look at these fun projects we'll be making at the Halloween Party and Class this Friday, September 21 at 7pm.  RSVP today to amy.frillici@yahoo.com if you'd like to join us!!

I CASE'd this first project from the Holiday Catalog and simplified it a bit....  We created this treat bag with the Fancy Favor Bigz XL Die with the Big Shot.  Then we had some fun with my new stamp set, Toxic Treats, that I received for FREE because my new friend, Lynette, decided to purchase the starter kit earlier this month.  This set was part of the Spooktacular Howl-o-ween Project Tray kit that anyone that purchased the Stampin' Up starter kit received - and that person's upline (in this case, ME) received a kit as well!!  Watch for a future blog post on that great kit once I've put it together!!

This next project is one of those cute glassine treat bags from the Ghoulish Googlies Designer Kit - just LOVE that kit!!  Makes it sooo easy to put super-cute Halloween treat bags together in a flash!!  And you can get the coordinating stamp set, Googly Ghouls, in a bundle with the kit and save 15%!!

Ghoulish Googlies Bundle  wood-mount  129852  $20.95

I found this next project while browsing for Halloween prjoject ideas on Stampin' Connection (a resourse provided by Stampin' Up to all demonstrators!!) - thanks to for this cute idea!!  I've decided I'm going to make another 50 or so of these and bring them into the kids' classes in October :).

This little spider guy shows the versatility of Stampin' Up punches - check this out...
Head - 1 1/4" circle punch
Body - 1 3/4" circle punch
Eyes - circles from the owl punch
Legs - curly label punch and 1 1/4" square punch
Just fill the treat cup with whatever you like and then mount the spider on a wooden dowel with a glue gun!  So simple - and yet, so cute!!
Sweet Treat Cups - by Stampin' Up!
Sweet Treat Cups  116802  $2.95 (qty 12)
This next project was demonstrated by Shannon West at Convention.  We use the Medium Flat Cello bags, stamp black and white stazon ink on the bags with separate sponge daubers, then sprinkle Dazzling Diamonds on the black dots and Tangerine Tango embossing powder on the white dots.  Then, just tie a ribbon around the top of the bag with the1/2" Striped Satin Ribbon - what fun!!

Medium Flat Cello Bags - by Stampin' Up!
Medium Flat Cello Bags  102757  $4.50 (qty 50)

I also found this last project on Stampin Connection - thanks to Loretta Springer for this great Halloween card idea!!

I LOOOOVE the Halloween Designer Series Paper in the Holiday Catalog this year - it's called Howlstooth & Scaringbone DSP - what a great name!!  We also used the new Champagne Glimmer Paper and my new Toxic Treats stamp set - the witch stamp coordinates perfectly (again - thanks to Stampin' Up for the coordination of products) with the Labels Collection Framelits!!
