Sooooo, anyone that knows me well knows..... that I LOVE candy corns!! In fact, I might be craving them as I write this blog post.... uh oh...... :).
Since it's that time of year, I decided to share my love of candy corns and add them to these little treat bags so that everyone else can enjoy the, too!
The treat topper is simple to make (and one that I've used for years now!). I'm pretty sure I made something like this when Lilly first started pre-school (and now she's a senior in high school!). In fact, here she is on her last..... first day of school this week :).
Ok, let's talk more about these treats....
I started with a 3" x 4" piece of Cute Halloween Designer Series Paper and scored it in half along the 3" side.
Next, I filled a cello bag with candy corns and stapled the DSP over the top of the cello bag.
Then, I die-cut a Basic Black tag using the Seasonal Labels Dies and added it to the DSP (covering the staple) with Dimensionals.
I stamped the pumpkin outline in Pumpkin Pie ink, the inside shading of the pumpkin in Pale Papaya ink, the face in Black Memento ink and "Hey, Boo!" in Highland Heather ink on Basic White card stock using the Cutest Halloween Stamp Set. Then, I punched the pumpkin out with the coordinating Halloween Punch.

Finally, I tied a Black & White Gingham Ribbon bow and added it to the tag.

We start our first page with a Calypso Coral base, then added a couple of pieces of You're a Peach Designer Series Paper to both sides of our pages, along with a half-sheet of Balmy Blue card stock in middle of our page.

Next, we stamped our peaches and leaves in Calypso Coral and Pear Pizzaz ink on Basic White card stock using the Sweet as a Peach Stamp Set and die-cut them out with the Peach Dies.

We added our peaches to a rectangle made with the Rectangle Stitched Dies from Basic White card stock.
Finally, we added a Petal Pink Striped Ribbon bow to our peaches, as well as a couple of Blue Adhesive-Backed Gems.

Here's a peak at our 2nd page....
This time, we started with a Balmy Blue base and added 2 more of the beautiful patterned designs from the You're a Peach Designer Series Paper to our page, along with a half-sheet of Calypso Coral card stock.
This Balmy Blue color has become one of my favorite summer colors :). I think it works really well with Calypso Coral, too - and I don't think I would have thought to pair these 2 colors together!
Again, we stamped our our peaches and leaves in Calypso Coral and Pear Pizzaz ink on Basic
White card stock using the Sweet as a Peach Stamp Set and die-cut them
out with the Peach Dies.
Next, we die-cut a tag from Basic White card stock using the Tailor Made Tags Dies and added a piece of the striped pattern in the You're a Peach Designer Series Paper to the bottom of our tag. The peaches were popped up on Dimensionals and added to our tag. Then, we tied a Whisper White Crinkled Seam-Binding Ribbon Bow on our tag.
Then, we stamped "Sweet as a Peach" in Calypso Coral ink on Basic White card stock and die-cut it with the Tasteful Labels Dies. We also added a Blue Adhesive-Backed Gem to our sentiment.
Finally, we added some Wink of Stella (it's really hard to see in the pic above unfortunately!) to make our peaches shimmer and shine.
