Scrapbook Class/Club - Tuesday, June 25

Here are the pages we'll be making at class tonight at 7pm.  This Scrapbook class/club meets the last Tuesday of every month!!  We'd love for you to join us anytime!!

This first page is the second half of the spread we made last month....

 It features the Parker's Patterns Designer Series Paper (I still had to use it this month even though it's retired now.... so that we could have a coordinating two-page spread!).  We embossed (I know it's a little hard to tell in this picture!) the cherry cobbler, marina mist and daffodil delight circles with the Chevron Embossing folder to keep the chevron theme going on these pages!

I think these pages will be great to hold some favorite summer memories!!

 We stamped (in Island Indigo and Pumpkin Pie) and cut the bird and the branch from the Betsey's Blossoms stamp set. Then we added lots of flags using the Quatrefancy Specialty Designer Series Paper - I got the colors for these pages from the colors in this DSP - how easy is that!!  Finally, we added a strip of the fun, new Pumpkin Pie Chevron ribbon along the bottom of the page!

Annual New Catalog Kickoff Make-n-Takes - Wednesday, June 19

Here are the two Make-n-Take cards that were offered at my Annual New Catalog Kickoff

and Buy 1, Get 1 Free Event this week!!

This first card was case'd from the Baggie Book cards we made earlier this month at Ronda Wade's Baggie Book event. 

We start with a Coastal Cabana card base (one of our fabulous new In Colors!) and add a layer of Whisper White embossed with the Modern Mosaic Embossing Folder.  Next, we stamped the three mosaics with the Mosaic Madness Stamp set (in Crisp Cantalope, Coastal Cabana and Strawberry Slush - all new In Colors!) and then punched them out with the Mosaic Punch.  Stampin' Up is now offering bundles in the Annual Catalog - for example, you can purchase the Mosaic Madness Bundle (which includes the Mosaic Madness Stamp set and punch) and receive a 15% discount on both products!!  Finally, we added some of the gorgeous Quatrefancy Specialty Designer Series Paper, Whisper White 1/4" Stitched grograin ribbon and the "Celebrate" sentiment from the Best of Birthdays set.

This next card features some more fun, new product!!    For this card, we start with a Daffodil Delight card base, then add a layer of Island Indigo embossed with the Fancy Fan Embossing Folder.  We also added a strip of the Gingham Garden Designer Series Paper and a Daffodil Delight Stitched Grograin ribbon.  Finally, we stamped "to the BEST FRIEND i've EVER HAD!" from the Label Love stamp set and punched it out with the Artisan Label punch.  These are another set of products that are bundled for a 15% discount!!  This piece is mounted on top of another Daffodil Delight piece punched from the Decorative Label punch (I just cut the middle out of the punched piece to shorten it).
