Happy Haunting Scrapbook Pages

Here are some fun Halloween Scrapbook pages for you today - in honor of Halloween :)

We made these pages at our Scrapbook Class this week.  If you'd like to join us at our next Scrapbook Class, we meet the last Tuesday of every month from 4-9pm.  Our next class will be on Tuesday, November 24.  You can come anytime between 4-9pm (it won't take you the whole time, I promise!)  Just email me at amy.frillici@yahoo.com to sign up today!

We start our first page with a Basic Black base, then added a couple of strips of the Happy Haunting Designer Series Paper (DSP) to the bottom of our page.  This DSP is perfect for your Halloween projects, but it's also versatile enough to be used for a birthday party or other events.  I bought an extra pack of this DSP because our school colors here in Alma are black and orange - I think it will work great to document my kid's school activities and athletic events!

We also added a strip of the gorgeous Basic Black 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon to the bottom of our page (in between the two strips of DSP).

Happy Haunting Designer Series Paper  139584  $11.00

Basic Black 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon  138430  $9.00

Next, we embossed a piece of Smoky Slate card stock with our Woodland Embossing Folder and sponged the raised embossed trees with Smoky Slate ink and our Sponge Daubers.

Finally, we stamped "spooky" (from the Among the Branches Set) in Tangelo Twist ink and punched it out with our 2" Circle Punch.  The Woodland Embossing Folder and Among the Branches Stamp set are also sold in a bundle for a 15% savings on both!

That cool black notched piece (behind the spooky circle) is made using the 2 3/8" Scallop Circle Punch.  First, punch one Basic Black 2 3/8" Scallop Circle.  Then, attach it to scrap paper with a tiny bit of adhesive and punch again to give that notched look.
It's so easy, yet so spooky!

Woodland Embossing Folder  139673  $8.50

Sponge Daubers  133773  $5.00

Among the Branches Photopolymer Stamp Set  139823  $17.00

2" Circle Punch  133782  $18.00

Among the Branches/Woodland Bundle  140872  $21.50

2 3/8" Circle Punch  118874  $18.00

Here's a peak at our next page we made at class.....

Again, we start with a Basic Black base.  This time we added a full piece of 8 1/2 x 11 Very Vanilla card stock along with a couple more pieces of the Happy Haunting Designer Series Paper.

At the top of the page, we die-cut the word "BOO" using our Black Glimmer Paper and the Boo to You Framelits.

Black Glimmer Paper  139605  $5.00

Boo to You Framelits  139663  $25.00

We also added a Spider Web Doily, along with a strip of Happy Haunting Striped DSP punched with the Banner Triple Punch.

Finally, we stamped "Trick or Treat" from the Howl-o-ween Treat Stamp Set and die-cut it with a Circle Framelit.

Spider Web Doilies  139622  $4.50

Banner Triple Punch  138292  $23.00

Howl-o-ween Treat Stamp Set  wood-mount  139687  $28.00
Howl-o-ween Treat Stamp Set  clear-mount  139690  $20.00

Circle Framelits  130911  $27.00

On the bottom of our page, we made that spooky skull and bones using the Howl-o-ween Treat Stamp Set and the coordinating Boo to You Framelits.  These items can be purchased separately or, when purchased together, you get 15% off on the bundle!

We stamped the images in Versamark ink, sprinkled them with White Embossing Powder and then heat set them with our Heat Tool.  So simple!  But I love the impact it makes!

Howl-o-ween Treat Bundle  wood-mount  140839  $45.00
Howl-o-ween Treat Bundle  clear-mount  140840  $38.25

Versamark Ink  102283  $7.50

White Stampin' Emboss Powder  109132  $5.00

I hope you enjoyed these pages!!

Flower Patch meets Fabulous Four

This is one of the cards we made this past weekend at the Birthday Stamp-a-Stack Class.
It is one of my favorites!!  Just look at those gorgeous flowers.....

We start our card with a Blackberry Bliss card base, then added a layer of Very Vanilla card stock.

Next, we stamped "celebrate - amazing . spectacular . fantastic . you" from the Fabulous Four Stamp set.  This stamp set features 4 "fabulous" sentiments - a get well, a thank you, a congratulations and a birthday - perfect for lots of occasions!!

Fabulous Four Stamp Set  wood-mount  134171  $19.00
Fabulous Four Stamp Set  clear-mount  134174  $15.00

Next, we stamped those gorgeous flowers I mentioned earlier using the Flower Patch Stamp set and coordinating Flower Fair Framelits.  You can purchase these items separately, or save 15% when you buy the bundle.

This is how we stamped the flowers:

-Tempting Turquoise large flower layered with a Pacific Point smaller flower (I love how this creates a perfect center for the flower!)
-So Saffron large flower layered with a Daffodil Delight smaller flower
-Blackberry Bliss large flower (no layering necessary - this flower is beautiful all on it's own!)
-Pear Pizzaz leaf outline layered with Garden Green leaf veins

Flower Patch Photopolymer Stamp Set  134207  $26.00

Flower Fair Framelits  133731  $25.00

Flower Patch Photopolymer Bundle  136788  $43.25

For a finishing touch, we added a couple of Pearls to the center of each flower.

Pearl Basic Jewels  119247  $5.00

I hope you enjoyed this card!!  Thanks to the Stampin' Up! Annual catalog for the inspiration for this card (how nice is that!)

Winter Wonderland Curvy Keepsake Box

Here's one of the cute "table treats" (my friend Jane's husband came up with that name!) that each person that attended the One Day Retreat received last Saturday.

It' so much fun to spoil the ladies at the retreat!

There was chocolate inside, of course!!

These treats are so simple and easy to make using the Curvy Keepsake Box Die and the Big Shot. Just cut 2 identical pieces with the die and then adhere them together at the bottom (only!) with Fast Fuse.

Curvy Keepsake Box Die  135853  $33.00

Big Shot  113439  $110.00

Fast Fuse  129026  $10.00

Just put the two tab-sides together , then put the other two sides over top of the tabs to hold it together.  The best part.... you can open and close this treat
without tearing or ruining it!  It stays cute forever!

We did tie a little Gold Glitter Ribbon around the tab on top of the treat just to add a little glitz!

Gold & White 3/8" Glitter Ribbon  139614  $10.00

We also stamped "Tis the Season" (from the Peaceful Pines Stamp Set) in Versamark ink and embossed it with our Heat Tool and Gold Embossing Powder.  Now that I see this tag up-close, I should have used my Embossing Buddy to help keep those gold flecks off my paper.....

ok,  next time....

We punched this piece out with our 1 1/4" Circle Punch, added it to a Gold Metallic Foil Doily and tied it on to our treat with some Gold Cording Trim.  Love the gold accents this year!!

Peaceful Pines Stamp Set  139728  $26.00

Versamark Ink  102283  $7.50

Heat Tool  129053  $30.00

Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder  109129  $5.00

Embossing Buddy  103083  $6.00

1 1/4" Circle Punch  119861  $16.00

Metallic Foil Doilies  138392  $4.00

Gold Cording Trim  139618  $5.00

I hope you enjoyed this treat!
