Whew...... what a busy weekend!!

We went to Pittsburgh for a basketball tournament.  We left Friday morning - that's why there was no Facebook Live on Friday and why I've been pretty quiet the past few days!!  But, we're back now and in the swing of things again.

It's so hard to get good action shots of Cade playing basketball, but he will pose for a pic everyone once in a while :).

Here he is in the Convention Center.....  there were over 30 basketball courts set up in there!!
It was a sight to see!!

And....  we found some time to explore the city..... so many hills, rivers and bridges!!  I'd go back there in a heart-beat!!  Pittsburgh is a great city, and Lilly and Cade enjoyed it, too :).

Sunny Days... Make your dreams Happen!

Here's a fun card for you today :).

It features our Product of the Week over on the Gathering Inkspiration Stamp Studio Facebook Group, the Sunny Days Stamp Set!

I made these cute cards for my Top 5 in Sales in our Inkspired Stampers Group for March.  I love to send them a fun card each month to say "congratulations".

We start our card with a Pineapple Punch card base.

Next, we stamped those little sun images (from the Sunny Days Stamp Set) in Mango Melody ink on our Mango Melody card stock and then added it to our card.

Then, we added a strip of Brights (Coastal Cabana) Designer Series Paper to our card.

Next, we stamped that cute lemonade stand (also from the Sunny Days Stamp Set) in Black Memento ink and then colored the images in with our Dark Pineapple Punch, Dark Flirty Flamingo, Light Bermuda Bay, Light Granny Apple Green and Light Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends.

We also added a little Pineapple Punch 1/8" Ribbon bow to our card - it's so cute!!

Here's a step-by-step tutorial on how to make the purse…..

·        Cut one piece of card stock to 6 ½” x 7”.

·        Score on the 6 ½” side at 2 ½” and 4”.

·        Score on the 7” side at 1 ½” and 5 ½”.

·        Fold along all score lines, and cut along the score marks on the 6 ½”sides up to the intersecting/opposite score marks.

·        Put the box together using Tear & Tape.

·        Cut 2 pieces of card stock to 4” x 5”.

·        Cut 2 pieces of Designer Series Paper (DSP) to 3 ¾” x 4 ¾”.

·        Round the corners of all 4 pieces, and then adhere one piece of DSP to one piece of card stock.

·        Punch the top of the DSP/card stock pieces with a 2” circle punch – inserting the punch about half way.

·        Adhere these pieces to each side of the purse.

·        Cut 2 pieces of card stock to ¾” x 10”.

·        Adhere the 2 strips of card stock to the outside of the purse (one on each side).

·        Cut 4 pieces of card stock to 1” x 1” and adhere them over the ends of the strips of cardstock on the purse.

·        Add a Gold Faceted Gem to each square piece of card stock.  They should look like buttons!
