Pop of Pink Scrapbook Pages

These are a couple of the Scrapbook Pages we made at class last month....

Ok, on to our pages....

We start our first page with a Whisper White base, then added 9 different pieces of 3x3 paper.  Some of the pieces use Melon Mambo and Basic Black cardstock, while the rest of the pieces are from the Pop of Pink Specialty Designer Series Paper.  This paper is so much fun, as you can tell!

We tied a Melon Mambo Thick Baker's Twine bow around the middle Basic Black piece.

Next, we stamped that cute flamingo and the sentiment "A Very Special Day" from the Pop of Paradise Stamp Set in Melon Mambo and Basic Black ink.

We die-cut this circle, along with the Melon Mambo scallop circle behind it, using the Layering Circle Framelits.  I use this framelit set ALL the time - if you don't have these framelits yet, you really need them!!

Here's a look at our 2nd page...

We used the same format as the 1st page, but this time we tied a Basic Black Baker's Twine bow around our middle piece - we layered it in two pieces to make it a bit thicker, too.

Next, we stamped 2 gold leaves (from the Pop of Paradise Stamp Set) on our Whisper White piece using Versamark ink, Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder and our Heat Tool.  I love how the gold leaves are complimented by the gold flecks on the piece beside it.

Then, we punched a Gold Glimmer Paper heart using our Sweetheart Punch and added it to our Melon Mambo piece.

Finally, we stamped the pineapple (also from the Pop of Paradise Stamp Set) in Melon Mambo ink and then added 2 strips of the Pop of Pink Washi Tape below it.  We also added a couple of other strips of the Pop of Pink Washi tape to the pieces on our pages.

Carried Away... It's a Boy!

Here's a fun baby card for you today.....

We start our card with a Night of Navy card base, then added a layer of Mint Macaron card stock embossed with the Lucky Stars Embossing Folder.

Next, we stamped "It's a Boy" and that little banner string (from the Any Occasion Sale-a-Bratoin Stamp set - another FREEBIE with a $50 order!).

We die-cut this piece, along with the Night of Navy piece behind it, with our Star Framelits.

Balloon Adventures Birthday Card Class TO GO
