Here are pictures of the projects we'll be making this week on Wednesday, February 29th at our 3D Project/Big Shot class. These projects feature the Twitterpated Designer Series Paper and few of the stamp sets you can get for FREE with a $50 order during Sale-a-bration! Just email me at amy.frillici@yahoo.com if you'd like to join us!
This first card is made with a Riding Hood Red card base and a layer of Island Indigo (one of my favorite colors right now!). The top Whisper White layer is embossed with the Square Lattice embossing folder, and the bottom layer is one of the designs found on the Twitterpated Designer Series paper (found in the Occasions Mini). I thought this was a fun, bright card - the type we need to brighten up these long winter days!! The "thanks" sentiment is from the Outlined Occasions stamp set (FREE with any $50 order during Sale-a-bration!). We finish the card off with a Riding Hood Red 3/8" Taffeta ribbon, and one of the flowers from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack and a Basic Rhinestone for some sparkle!
I've been wanting to make a project with this cute Box #2 die with the Big Shot for a while now! This is what I came up with.... I used the Twitterpated Designer Series Paper for the box and wrapped it with a strip of the Twitterpated Designer Fabric. Don't they coordinate so well? That's the idea behind the suites of products that Stampin' Up comes up with (in this case, the Twitterpated Suite of products) - you can create beautifully coordinated projects in no time! I added a button from the
Brights Collection Designer Buttons (free with a $50 order thru March 31!)
and added a little Lucky Limeade Baker's Twine (new in the Occasions Mini). We made some "confetti" to go inside the box with 1/4 strips of Island Indigo card stock that we ran thru the Crimper to give them that texture! What fun! And a perfect gift box for Easter or Mother's Day!
I thought we had to have a cute 3x3 card to go along with our cute gift box! We start with a Whisper White card, add a layer of Island Indigo and then another layer of Whisper White. We stamped "Happy Birthday" from the Elementary Elegance stamp set (free with a $50 order thru March 31), punched it out with the Curly Label punch and popped it up on dimensionals. The flourish border is stamped in coordinating Island Indigo ink. We stamped the little crown (also found in the Elementary Elegance stamp set) in Pear Pizzaz and added a basic Rhinestone to the crown! And... the Mini Square Envelopes that Stampin' Up sells work perfectly with these little cards!
How cute is that??
As always, I hope you enjoyed these projects! I can't wait to share them with you at class this week on Wednesday! Hope to see you then!
