Take a look at these fun projects we'll be making at the Halloween Party and Class this Friday, September 21 at 7pm. RSVP today to amy.frillici@yahoo.com if you'd like to join us!!
I CASE'd this first project from the Holiday Catalog and simplified it a bit.... We created this treat bag with the Fancy Favor Bigz XL Die with the Big Shot. Then we had some fun with my new stamp set, Toxic Treats, that I received for FREE because my new friend, Lynette, decided to purchase the starter kit earlier this month. This set was part of the Spooktacular Howl-o-ween Project Tray kit that anyone that purchased the Stampin' Up starter kit received - and that person's upline (in this case, ME) received a kit as well!! Watch for a future blog post on that great kit once I've put it together!!
Fancy Favor Bigz XL Die 115965 $39.95
Toxic Treat Stamp set wood-mount 127898 $28.95
Toxic Treats Stamp set clear-mount 127901 $20.95
This next project is one of those cute glassine treat bags from the Ghoulish Googlies Designer Kit - just LOVE that kit!! Makes it sooo easy to put super-cute Halloween treat bags together in a flash!! And you can get the coordinating stamp set, Googly Ghouls, in a bundle with the kit and save 15%!!
Ghoulish Googlies Bundle wood-mount 129852 $20.95
Ghoulish Googles Bundle clear-mount 129853 $16.95
I found this next project while browsing for Halloween prjoject ideas on Stampin' Connection (a resourse provided by Stampin' Up to all demonstrators!!) - thanks to for this cute idea!! I've decided I'm going to make another 50 or so of these and bring them into the kids' classes in October :).
This little spider guy shows the versatility of Stampin' Up punches - check this out...
Head - 1 1/4" circle punch
Body - 1 3/4" circle punch
Eyes - circles from the owl punch
Legs - curly label punch and 1 1/4" square punch
Just fill the treat cup with whatever you like and then mount the spider on a wooden dowel with a glue gun! So simple - and yet, so cute!!
Sweet Treat Cups 116802 $2.95 (qty 12)
This next project was demonstrated by Shannon West at Convention. We use the Medium Flat Cello bags, stamp black and white stazon ink on the bags with separate sponge daubers, then sprinkle Dazzling Diamonds on the black dots and Tangerine Tango embossing powder on the white dots. Then, just tie a ribbon around the top of the bag with the1/2" Striped Satin Ribbon - what fun!!
Medium Flat Cello Bags 102757 $4.50 (qty 50)
1/2" Striped Satin Ribbon 127837 $7.95
I also found this last project on Stampin Connection - thanks to Loretta Springer for this great Halloween card idea!!
I LOOOOVE the Halloween Designer Series Paper in the Holiday Catalog this year - it's called Howlstooth & Scaringbone DSP - what a great name!! We also used the new Champagne Glimmer Paper and my new Toxic Treats stamp set - the witch stamp coordinates perfectly (again - thanks to Stampin' Up for the coordination of products) with the Labels Collection Framelits!!
Howlstooth & Scaringbone DSP 126906 $10.95
Champagne Glimmer Paper 127885 $4.95
Labels Collection Framelits 125598 $26.95
