Scrapbook Class/Club - November 27, 2012

Here are the pages we'll be making at the Scrapbook Class/Club on Tuesday, November 27 at 7pm.  Please let me know if you'd like to join us at class/club.  Just RSVP to amy.frillici@yahoo.com by Saturday, November 24!
We made one of these pages (the one on the right) at class last month.  We'll be making the coordinating page (the one on the left) this month at class!!
This is a simple Halloween or Fall-themed page.  Simple, but cute!!

We use the Polka Dot Parade Designer Series Paper along the bottom of the page and add a cute pumpkin made by punching three ovals from the Polka Dot Parade DSP as well. We also added a Brights Designer Button and some Lucky Limeade Baker's Twine to the button

I was so exited to use the Orchard Harvest Designer Series Paper and the Early Espresso Core'dinations Card stock on these next two fall-themed pages!!

Check out that Early Espresso Core'dinations card stock.  We embossed it with the Woodgrain embossing folder and sanded it with the Stampin' Sanding Block!  I think it almost looks like tree bark!!

Stampin' Sanding Block

And how about those leaves??  You probably think they're real!!  Actually, they are made from the packing paper that comes with every Stampin' Up shipment.  Sandi Dailey shared this great idea with us at Ronda Wade's Creative Convention back in September.  I have been anxious to try it out ever since!!  This is what you do:  run the packing paper thru the Big Shot with the Autumn Accents Bigz Die, then "sponge dauber" Cajun Craze ink around the outside edges of the leaves and "sponge dauber" the inside of the leaves with Summer Starfruit ink.  Then, crinkle up the leaves and lightly unfold them, then press them into an Early Espresso ink pad with a clear block - the ink will only go to the "crinkled" parts of the leaf - it is so cool!!

As always, I hope you enjoyed these pages!!  Please let me know if you'd like to join us at class next Tuesday, November 27!  Hope to see you soon!
