My Aunt Connie (who stamps with us at our regular All-Occasion Card-Making class each month) approached me recently about getting a group of women together to make cards to donate to the local cancer center here in Alma. I loved the idea from the minute she suggested it!! My mom actually battled breast cancer three times, and I know she would have loved to receive a hand-stamped card in the mail during any of those times. (Unfortunately, I hadn't yet found my passion for paper-crafting when she was going through her treatments!!) Needless to say, I was inspired to help women just like my mom who might need a note or words of encouragement from a friend during a difficult time.
Each of these cards was inspired by our beautiful Sale-a-Bration Designer Series Paper, Sweet Sorbet (free with a $50 order through March 31!).
