The Sky is the Limit

I love this vintage airplane!

What a fun image to use on this card!

We start our card with a Soft Sky card base, then added a layer of Sahara Sand card stock.  We just offset this piece a bit, then added a layer of Whisper White card stock (which was also offset a bit).

I love the look that this type of layering creates.

Next, we die-cut a Circle Framelit from a separate piece of card stock and used this as a mask for our sponging.  Inside the circle cutout, we sponged Soft Sky ink and then a little Sahara Sand ink using our Sponge Daubers.  It really looks like a "sky" background, don't you think?

Then, we stamped our airplane and clouds in our new Basic Black Archival ink.  These images can be found in the the new Sale-a-Bration Stamp Set, The Sky is the Limit.  You can earn this FREE stamp set with a $50 order during Sale-a-Bration!

Finally, we stamped "The Sky is the Limit" (also from the appropriately-named Sale-a-Bration Stamp Set, The Sky is the Limit) in Basic Black Archival Ink.

We also tied a Silver Baker's Twine Bow around the card and added a Neutrals (Black) Candy Dot to the corner of our sentiment piece.
