Honeycomb Happiness... You're So Sweet

Here is one of the cards we made last month at our Inkspiration Night & Group Meeting.  This is the card we made to donate to a local organization.  I keep these cards that we make each month, package them up into assorted 3-packs of cards and add some ribbon to the packages so they're like a fun present!  This month we sent 12 packets of cards to a local Hospice House.  They use them as prizes for their Bingo Nights!  And... from what I hear.... these card packets are a real hit!

Ok, on to our card....
 

 

We start our card with a Mint Macaron card base, then added a piece of the Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper to the card.  Those little polka dots are just too cute!

Next, we stamped that cute baby chick (from the Honeycomb Happiness Sale-a-Bration stamp set - yours FREE with a $50 order thru March 31!) in Basic Black Archival Ink.  Then, we added a hint of pink to him (or her?) using our Aquapainter and some Blushing Bride ink.

Then, we die-cut our cute baby chick with our Circle Framelits and layered it on top of another Blushing Bride piece die-cut with the same framelits.

Finally, we stamped "You're So Sweet" (also from the Honeycomb Happiness Stamp Set) and punched this piece out with our Large Oval Punch.  We layered this piece on top of a Blushing Bride Scallop Circle punched piece.

We also added a couple of small flowers (using the flower punch in the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack) with Pearls in the center of them to our card. 

So simple, yet so cute!
