Here's a gorgeous holiday card for you today...
We made this card at our Hang You Stocking Stamp-a-Stack Class last month. I had so much fun designing the cards for this class! I especially love the gold accents on this card :)
We made this card at our Hang You Stocking Stamp-a-Stack Class last month. I had so much fun designing the cards for this class! I especially love the gold accents on this card :)
We start our card with a Cherry Cobbler Card Base, then added a layer of Very Vanilla card stock. Before adding this layer to our card, we stamped "Wishing You a Season Filled with Love and Happiness" from the Hang Your Stocking Stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink.
Hang Your Stocking Stamp Set 142114 $15.75 (On Sale Thru 11/30/16!!!)
Next, we added a piece of the This Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper to the bottom of our Very Vanilla piece. Then, before we added these layers to our card base, we put a strip of the Gold Natural Trim around these layers and tied a separate piece of ribbon around the strip to make our "cheater bow".
This Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper 141628 $13.00
Gold Natural Trim 141484 $7.00
Finally, we die-cut our stocking (in Cherry Cobbler card stock) and our stocking trim (in Gold Glimmer Paper) using the Christmas Stocking Thinlits.
We also embossed our stocking using the Cable Knit Embossing Folder - it looks so real!
Gold Glimmer Paper 133719 $5.00
Christmas Stocking Thinlits 141841 $30.00
Cable Knit Embossing Folder 143537 $10.00
I hope you enjoyed this card!
