One Day Crafting Retreat

We had such a great time at our One Day Crafting Retreat last Saturday!!!!

I love this day!!!

And....  I think everyone that attends does as well :).

It doesn't matter what type of crafter you are...  everyone is welcome!  We had 2 people bring their sewing machines and lots of people worked on making cards and putting their scrapbooks together.

You can basically bring whatever you'd like to work on for the day.  It's your chance to actually get something done - without any interruptions!!  You get to play all day, and we spoil you with....

-lots of good food
-cute table treats
-an awesome goody bag of product
-fun make-n-take projects
-raffles and prizes
-the use of all my big shot supplies, stamp sets and punches

Everyone was greeted with their goody bag, name tag and a table treat at their seat in the morning....




Each person received (in their goody bag) a package of the Succulent Garden Designer Series Paper, the coordinating Succulent Garden Ribbon Combo Pack and a package of the Crumb Cake Notecards and Envelopes.  All of these items are retiring on May 31 (or sooner, if supplies run out before then!).  I sure am going to miss those Crumb Cake Notecards and Envelopes..... and the Succulent Garden Suite has been a favorite of mine in the Occasions Catalog!

The name tags were inspired by the name tags that my friend (and fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrator, Melissa Roberts) designed for our Crafting Weekend back in March.  I loved them so much I wanted to share them with everyone at our One Day Retreat as well :).

These name tags feature the Work of Art Stamp Set, Flower Medallion Punch, 2" Circle Punch, Succulent Garden Ribbon Combo Pack (this ribbon is so soft!!) and Rhinestones.  The Flower Medallion Punch and Rhinestones are retiring (and the Rhinestones have already sold out!).  But, not to fear.... Stampin' Up! is just re-formatting our Rhinestones and Pearls, and they'll be available again to purchase on June 1 when the new Annual Catalog goes live!

I just love these cute post it note holders - and, since I use post it notes ALL the time, I thought everyone else might be able to use them, too!

Last, but not least, are our make-n-takes from the retreat.  It's another CASE of my friend, Melissa's projects from our Weekend Retreat.  I thought they were so cute!  I knew everyone would love them at our One Day Retreat as well!

We used the Crumb Cake Note Cards & Envelopes and our Succulent Garden Designer Series Paper and Ribbon from our goody bags to make these projects.  I love to show everyone how to use the products that they receive in their goody bags :).  I think it makes them much more meaningful!

We made a cute box to hold our Note Cards & Envelopes.

Then, we made 4 simple cards to go in our box!

This first card features the Watercolor Words Stamp Set (that is NOT retiring!) and our Lace Doilies (that ARE retiring and have already sold out - sorry!).
