Spooky Cat... Happy Halloween

Hi Friends!!

Here's a fun Halloween card for you today.  This just happens to be another card we made last month at our Simple, Beautiful Card Class :).

It was great to showcase some of our Halloween products at class.  So, even if you don't send many Halloween cards, you can see the products in action (and maybe come up with an idea to make cute Halloween treats with these products instead!).  Check out a couple of treats I made using these products at the end of this blog post, too!

We start our card with a Basic Black card base, then added a layer of Pumpkin Pie card stock embossed with the Polka Dot Basics Embossing Folder.

Next, we flagged the end of a 2" wide piece of our Spooky Night Designer Series Paper using the Banner Triple Punch.

Then, the real fun began....

We punched out one of the black cats from the Spooky Night Designer Series Paper (DSP) using our Cat Punch - I think it's so cool that Stampin' Up! designed the cats in this DSP to coordinate perfectly with the Cat Punch!

Unfortunately, there's no hat punch though.... this was easily cut out using our Paper Snips instead!

We put our cat and his cute hat on a Pumpkin Pie Stitched Shape Circle and added a couple of our awesome Black Rhinestones.

Finally, we stamped "Happy Halloween" in Basic Black ink using the Spooky Cat Stamp set and added a small strip of the Spooky Night Designer Series Paper above that.  The Spooky Cat Stamp Set and the Cat Punch are also bundled together for a 10% savings on both items :).
