Scrapbook Class - February 16, 2012

Here are the 3 scrapbook pages we'll be making at Scrapbook Class
this week on Thursday, February 16.

Please call me at (989) 330-0259 or email me at amy.frillici@yahoo.com if you'd like to come to class this month.

These first two pages feature a Riding Hood Red cardstock base
for our Valentine-inspired theme this month.

I embellished the first page with the Serif Essentials Alphabet Bigz Die with the Big Shot (the "LOVE" letters). We also used the Twitterpated Designer Fabric (isn't it beautiful?) and the P.S. I Love You stamp set (both found in the Occasions Mini). The top of the fabric strip is finished off with the Baja Breeze 1/2" Seam Binding Ribbon, and the stamped heart image is complemented by the Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslit Die with the Big Shot.

The second page features the new Hearts Collection Framelits Die with the Big Shot - in this case, it's made to look like a balloon with a tail made from Red Baker's Twine and hearts punched from the Small Heart punch.  The two scalloped images in the bottom left corner of this page are made from the P.S. I Love You stamp set (again!! - I could not get enough of this stamp set this Valentine season!)
and the 1 3/4" Scallop Cirle, 1 3/8" Circle and 1" Circle punches.

There's that awesome Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslit Die with the Big Shot (in Riding Hood Red) again - I will never tire of that cute die!

This last page features a Rich Razzleberry cardstock base and the new Labels Collection Framelits Die.  I layered Whisper White cardstock, then Pocketful of Posies Designer Series Paper in the framelit shape.  Then, we added a strip of the new 3/8" Pleated Satin ribbon (another favorite of mine right now!) in Pear Pizzaz.  The flowers are made from the Blossom punch (also found in the Occasions Mini) - then we cut the petals of each flower two times (and layered two flowers together) - I learned this technique at Leadership this year when we did our Make-n-Takes!  The flowers get a final touch from the Blossom Builders Designer Printed kit (found, again!, in the Occasions Mini).  This kit allows you to make beautiful flower embellishments with printed, die-cut flowers on textured paper and pink rhinestones - what fun!  This kit was another gift we received while at the Leadership Convention last month - I couldn't wait to come home and share it with all of you!

Well, I hope you enjoyed!!  These pages will be so much fun to make this month!!
