All-Occasion Card Class - Wednesday, April 11

Here are the cards we'll be making this week on Wednesday, April 11 at 7pm at my All-Occasion Card-Making Class.  You'll make 4 cards for $12 or the class is FREE with a minimum $25 order.  I'd love to have you join us at class this month.  Just call me at (989) 330-0259 or email me at amy.frillici@yahoo.com to RSVP today!

This first card is a Mother's Day card (the inside reads "For My Wonderful Mother") - the sentiment is from the Delightful Dozen stamp set.  You could really use this card for just about any occasion - just change up the sentiment on the inside and you're all set!  This is a "CASE" ("Copy And Share Everything") of a card I received while swapping at Stampin Up's Leadership Convention in San Antonio earlier this year.  I'd been wanting to try it out for quite some time now and just finally found some spare time to put it together.  Thanks to Vicky Murza in Virginia for this awesome idea!  I was excited to do some water coloring - haven't done that in a long time!  We stamped the flower image from the Bordering on Romance set (found in the Occasions Mini) with Stazon On ink on Watercolor paper and then colored the images in with Elegant Eggplant, Lucky Limeade, So Saffron and More Mustard ink and the blender pens.  We layered the Wisteria Wonder card base with a Lucky Limeade piece embossed with the Houndstooth Embossing folder and the Big Shot!  I think it turned out great!  What do you think??

This next card is based off an idea I found on Stampin' Connection from Danielle Vincent.  Stampin' Connection is an online forum for current Stampin' Up demonstrators to share ideas and info - it is such a great resource!  This card is entirely built around the Sweet Shop Designer Series Paper strip(this paper can be found in the Occasions Mini and is only available until April 30th - let me know if you'd like to place an order before this super-cute paper is gone forever!).  We used an Island Indigo card base and one of the Adorning Accents Embossing folders along the outside edge of the card - those hearts are too cute!  The Happy Birthday image is from the Happiest Birthday Wishes Hostess Stamp set.  We added a Basic Rhinestone to the birthday greeting and tied a Pool Party bow around the strip of DSP (Designer Series Paper) to finish it off - a simple, but oh-so-cute card!

These next two cards were found while browsing Mary Fish's Stampin' Pretty blog.  I just love her ideas and am so grateful to be able to share these beautiful ideas with my friends here in Michigan!  If you don't recognize the Designer Series paper yet, there's a good reason!  It's a sneak peak from the New Catalog that will be released on June 1.  This Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper (along with the Daffodil Delight Seam-binding ribbon) are only available thru this sneak-peak offer until April 30th!  I can't get enough of them!  We used one of the Adorning Accents Edgelits dies with the Big Shot to create the scalloped edge to the card.  This Happy Birthday image is from the Curly Cute stamp set.  We also added a Brights Flower brad and a Basic Pearl next to the greeting.  Wouldn't you just love to receive this beautiful birthday card in the mail??

As I mentioned, I also found these cute 3x3 cards on Mary Fish's Stampin' Pretty blog.  They feature the Sweet Shop Designer Series paper and Jelly Bean Brads - can you see the adorable cupcake on the first brad??  We also used the In-Color brads on the second card.  The "Birthday Celebrations" greeting is from the Upsy Daisy stamp set.  Perfect little gift cards for any birthday celebration!

I hope you enjoyed these cards as much as I did this month!  And, like I said, I'd love for you to join us at my All-Occasion Card Making Class this Wednesday, April 11 at 7pm!
Hope to see you then!
