Here are the cards we made last week at the All-Occasion Card Class. Each of them features some fun, new product from the Spring and Sale-a-bration Catalogs!
This first card was a sample I saw on one of the Leadership Convention boards last week. I love taking pictures of these awesome ideas, but have to apologize that I can't give credit to the original designer because you cannot see the back of the cards on the display boards....
For this card, we start with a Marina Mist card base, add a layer of Cherry Cobbler that was cut with the Bigz Clear Oval Accent Die and embossed with the Chevron Embossing folder. We stamped the "Thinking of You Friend" with the Just Thinking Stamp set and cut those layers out with the Window Frame Framelits. Finally, we added the "flags" in Early Espresso and the Parker's Patterns DSP and then punched the mini flowers with the Boho Blossoms Punch - these are adhered together with a Regals brad.

This next card (CASE'd from Christy Kimball's Leadership swap) features lots of fun items featured in the Sale-a-bration Catalog. Unfortunately, Stampin' Up policy says we can feature the items in a project on our blog, but we cannot show an actual picture of the item until Sale-a-bration begins... Fortunately though, we don't have to wait much longer.... Sale-a-bration begins this Tuesday, January 22!!
I can tell you about the products though.....
This card starts with a Tangerine Tango card base, then we added the Whisper White, Island Indigo (embossed with the Polka Dot Embossing folder) and another Tangerine Tango layer. That pretty patterned DSP at the bottom is from the Sycamore Street Designer Series Paper (get it for FREE during Sale-a-bration!). The stamped images (mounted on a 3" Tangerine Tango circle and a 2 1/2" Whisper White circle) are also a a FREE Sale-a-bration item - from the Bloomin' Marvelous stamp set!!
This next card is another CASE - this time from Amy Storrie's Leadership Swap!
It features a Pool Party Card base (which seems to be a bit washed-out looking in this pic - it really is beautiful in "real" life!). We embossed the top of the card with the Adorning Accents Embossing Folder and then added a couple of layers of the More Amore DSP to the bottom of the card. The hearts are stamped in Primrose Petals and Pool Party using the Hearts a Flutter stamp set and die-cut with the coordinating Hearts a Flutter framelits. Finally, we tied a ribbon around the card with the Sale-a-bration (FREE!) Sycamore Street Ribbon in Pool Party.

Our final card is one more swap I received at Leadership - this one was from Nicole Black. I really did receive a TON of great card ideas this year!! It was fun to be able to use so many of them as soon as I got home for this class!!
This was the first time I received a FREE Title-benefits bundle (which is how I got this stamp set, Collage Curios). I just promoted to Manager in September of last year! - at the Supervisor and Senior Supervisor levels, you can get the Title-benefits bundle at a discount, but, once you reach Manager, it's FREE!! - who hoooo :).
Ok, back to the card itself...
We start with a Whisper White card base, then add a layer of Soft Suede and then a layer of So Saffron embossed with the new Honeycomb embossing folder. The accent in the middle is made as follows: stamp the bumble bee and cursive words on a Whisper White layer, then punch a So Saffron layer with the 1" circle punch, then the More Mustard layer with the 1 1/4" circle punch, then finally the Soft Suede layer with the 1 3/8" circle punch and put them all together! Stamp "Thank You" from the Perfectly Penned set, and you're all set!!
