Scrapbook Class/Club - Tuesday, November 26

Here are the pages we made at Scrapbook Class the other night.  The first two pages feature the Season of Style Designer Series Paper, a traditional red and green color combination for the holidays!

Season of Style Designer Series Paper  132340  $10.95

Here's a closer look at the first page we made....

And an even closer look at some of the embellishments we used on the page....

We stamped and punched a number of ornaments using the coordinating stamp set, Christmas Collectibles, along with the Christmas Ornament punch.  We strung those together with linen thread and added a strip of Baked Brown Sugar 3/8" Ruffle Stretch Trim above one of the candy stripe pieces of designer series paper.  Next, we stamped "Merry Christmas" from the Petite Pairs set and added a cute little ornament punch from the Merry Minis Punch Pack from the 2012 Holiday Catalog (still available AND ON SALE!, although not included in this year's Holiday Catalog).   Finally, we added an Old Olive Simply Styled Embellishment to one of the photo squares just for fun!  I love using our limited-time embellishments on our scrapbook pages, as they are preserved forever in my book then!

Christmas Collectibles Bundle  wood-mount  133282  $31.95
Christmas Collectibles Bundle  clear-mount  133283  $27.95

Baked Brown Sugar 3/8" Ruffle Stretch Trim  130022  $8.95

 Petite Pairs Stamp Set  wood-mount  128706  $28.95
Petite Pairs Stamp Set  clear-mount  122497  $20.95

Merry Minis Punch Pack  126882  $12.71

Old Olive Simply Styled Embellishment  132148  $5.95

Here's a look at our next page...

For this page, we used the Expressions Thinlits Die (Merry) for the top of the page (I picture some fun pictures of the kids opening presents for this page!) and wrapped the page like a present with the Cherry Cobbler 1" Stitched Grograin Ribbon.

 Expressions Thinlits Die  132171  $24.95

Cherry Cobbler Grosgrain 1" Stitched Edge Ribbon  132135  $8.95

We added a fun bow with the Gift Bow Bigz L Die (I love this die!!).  Imagine all of the bows you could make with all of that paper you have stashed away at home!!  You'd never have to buy another bow again if you had this die!!  We wrapped our bow with some Silver Glimmer Paper and added an "oh, what fun!" tag to the "present" with the Christmas Messages Stamp set and Chalk Talk framelits.

Gift Bow Bigz L Die  129977  $32.95

Silver Glimmer Paper  124005  $4.95

 Christmas Messages Stamp Set  wood-mount  131790  $28.95
Christmas Message Stamp Set  clear-mount  131793  $20.95

Chalk Talk Framelits  129983  $24.95

And here's a look at our last page for the month.... We'll be making the coordinating page for this at next month's class in December.

I have used this designer series paper, Winter Frost, on so many projects over the past few months and still haven't tired of it!  It is just gorgeous!!  We also added a strip of Silver Glimmer Paper to the top of the page and made our snowflakes with this paper as well.  The snowflakes were die-cut with the Festive Flurry framelits.  Finally, we added a little more silver sparkle with a Silver 1/8" Ribbon bow!

Winter Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper  132341  $12.95

Festive Flurry Framelits Dies 132193  $24.95

 Silver 1/8" Ribbon  132137  $4.95

As always, I hope you enjoyed these pages!!
