Kid's Valentine Treats

Here are the projects we made for the kid's classes at school today!

This first picture is of the treats that Lilly took to her class. We packaged up boxes of candy hearts in these fun, red Valentine treat bags. They were part of the Sweetheart Treat Bags kit and included 12 printed treat bags, 12 printed tags and 12 pre-cut Pool Party baker's twine pieces. We also made these great pencil toppers using some old Valentine Designer Series Paper and the awesome, new Fringe Scissors. Lilly and I had a great time putting these together (even if we did stay up later than we should have!).

This second picture is of the treats that Cade took to his class. We had to disguise the Fun Dip inside these cute treat holders (I still don't think they're supposed to bring sweets to school, but we haven't heard much on that lately - and we just couldn't resist!).

We made these treat holders with 2 x 9 1/2" strips of Pool Party paper and punched each end with the Scalloped Tag Topper punch. Next, we stamped some Pool Party hearts from the Hearts a Flutter Stamp set on these pieces and then added the "Happy Heart Day" image from the Tages 4 You set and the coordinating Label Bracket Punch. This piece was mounted on top of a Rich Razzleberry Windows Collection Framelit piece. It was all tied together with a Real Red 1/4" Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon!
