Way to Go... I Think You're Great

Here's a fun "Way to Go!" card today - it's perfect for those graduation open houses or just to say "congratulations" to someone.

We start our card with a Crushed Curry Card base, then added a layer of Night of Navy Card Stock and then a layer of Whisper White Card Stock.  I especially love the color combination on this card!!
Next, we stamped that fun floral image from the "I Think You're Great" Stamp Set in Crushed Curry ink - it sets the perfect background for our "Way to Go" sentiment (which we fussy-cut with our Paper Snips) and our pretty green flower.

I Think You're Great Stamp Set  wood-mount  138712  $25.00
I Think You're Great Stamp Set  clear-mount  139868  $18.00

Paper Snips  103579  $10.00

We added a tiny Cucumber Crush heart to our "Way to Go" sentiment using our Hearts Border Punch, along with some thread from our White Jute Ribbon.
Just trim the edge of the White Jute Ribbon along one seam, then pull the thread layers back one by one - use your Paper Snips as needed to help with the pull the thread layers apart.
Then, just apply some adhesive to the card and tack the thread down in a circlular motion.  I just love the extra texture it gives this card!

Hearts Border Punch  133784  $16.00

1 1/4" White Jute Ribbon  137904  $9.00

Finally, we made that beautiful, full flower (it looks so real, doesn't it??) using our Cherry on Top Cotton Paper Assortment.  I found it was easiest to cut a 2" strip of the paper, fold it into 6 layers and then punch with our Pansy Punch - since the paper is fairly thin, it made it easier to punch with the 6 layers all together.  We stapled these 6 layers together with our Handheld Stapler, crinkled them up to give them their texture and then adhered them to the card with a Dimensional.

Pansy Punch  130698  $16.00

Cherry on Top Cotton Paper Assortment  138308  $7.00

Handheld Stapler  139083  $10.00

Dimensionals  104430  $4.00

I hope you enjoyed this card!!  Thanks so much to Helen Read for her inspiration on this card!!

I hope you have an Inkspired day!!
