Balloon Celebration Gift Card Holder

Here's a fun gift card holder for you today....  This was one of the make-n-takes from our One Day Retreat last month.  I think it would be perfect for Mother's Day, a birthday or even a graduation gift!

We start our project with a Kraft Tag a Bag Gift Bag, folded in half.  We adhered the sides of the bag together to create 2 pouches/slots in the bag (one at the original bag opening and the other at the folded bottom part).  You can tuck a note in the back slot and a gift card in the front slot!  These great bags are on the retiring item list and are only available while supplies last.  See all of the retiring items here.

We adhered two pieces of the Have a Cuppa Designer Series Paper Stack to the front and back of our bag and tied a Melon Mambo 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon around our bag.  Both of these items are also retiring and are only available while supplies last :(.  I really love this Melom Mambo ribbon and have used a lot lately - I'm sure going to miss it!

Next, we punched the corners of our note with the Curvy Corner Trio Punch (another retiring item) and then stamped "let us celebrate" at the top of our note.  This cute sentiment can be found in the Balloon Celebration Photopolymer Stamp Set.

Finally, we stamped "Come, let us sit together and drink (and eat cookies!)" in Early Espresso ink and then punched this piece out with our 1 3/4" Circle Punch.  This sentiment can also be found in the Balloon Celebration Photopolymer Stamp Set.  We layered our sentiment on top of a Melon Mambo 2 3/8" Scallop Circle punched piece.  All of the scallop circle punches are retiring as well.
