Affectionately Yours

Here's a swap card I made using some of the new products in the 2016-17 Annual Catalog...  It's always so fun and inspiring to work with these new products :).

We start our card with a Night of Navy card base, then added a layer of Crumb Cake card stock, followed by 3 pieces of the new Affectionately Yours Designer Series Paper.  I am in love with this new Designer Series Paper - see all of the patterns here....  A couple of the pieces even feature our new Copper Embossing Powder!

Before adding these layers to our card, I tied a Whisper White Thick Baker's Twine bow around the layers.

I also stamped that cute flower (using Watermelon Wonder, Night of Navy and Mint Macaron ink and a Daffodil Delight Marker) and the sentiment "sending a smile your way" from the Love & Affection Stamp Set.  I love this new stamp set - the flowers are so cute and layer so well to make many combinations of flowers.

I hope you enjoyed this card!

Here's a peak at the inspiration for the layout on this card....

This was a swap card I received from Nancy Gulick at a recent Gathering Inkspiration Group Meeting - I really liked how she layered the pieces of Designer Series Paper on her card and thought I'd give it a try.  I think it turned out pretty well!
