Here's a sneak peek at some of the product in the 2017 Occasions Catalog that goes live tomorrow!!!!!
I've had so much fun playing with the new products!! Don't get me wrong.... I love the holidays, but it's kind of a relief to put away all of the holiday stuff and start playing with something new!!
I'm going to be ready for birthdays this year - it's one of my New Year's Resolutions!!
So, in keeping with that, I decided to make a birthday gift card holder.....
I actually started this project with a piece of Kraft card stock that was 5" x 7" and scored at 3 1/4". It kind of looks like one of our Kraft Gift Bags, but without the notches on the top of the bag. They are so simple to make - and you can make a bunch of them with our Kraft card stock!
Next, I added a 2" x 12" belly band using the new Party Animal Designer Series Paper - this belly band helps hold the gift card and note inside. I also tied an Emerald Envy 1/8" Taffeta bow around the belly band.
Kraft 12x12 Card Stock 133674 $7.00
For the inside card, I stamped "To" and "From" using the Tin of Tags Stamp Set (it's the last day to order this set!!) and also added 3 strips of the coordinating Party Animal Washi Tape.
Tin of Tags Photopolymer Stamp Set 142180 $16.80
And now for the tag....
I stamped "It's Your Birthday" (from the Balloon Adventures Stamp Set) in Pacific Point ink and the bow (from the same set) in Pumpkin Pie ink.
This sentiment piece was die-cut using the Layering Circle Framelits (on sale - at half off!! - for just one more day!). The Pumpkin Pie circle and Pacific Point scallop circle behind it were also die-cut with the Layering Circle Framelits.
Finally, I added a Pacific Point Enamel Shape to the bow for a finishing touch.
Layering Circle Framelits 141705 $17.50
Brights Enamel Shapes 141680 $9.00
