Apple of My Eye... You're Just the Sweetest

Here's fun, bright card for you today.....

I saw this on Erica Cerwin's Pink Buckarroo blog a while ago and knew we had to make this card! (which we did last month at the All-Occasion Card Class).
 

 

We start our card with a Pumpkin Pie card base, then added a layer of Whisper White card stock.

 

On the Whisper White layer, we stamped (using the Timeless Textures Stamp Set) the Basic Black Grid marks and the two different "dot" stamps in Pumpkin Pie ink.

Next, we added a piece of Everyday Chic (Basic Black) Designer Series Paper and a strip of the Brights Collection (Pumpkin Pie) Designer Series Paper Stack over our stamped Whisper White layer.

Finally, we stamped our "orange" from the Apple of My Eye Stamp Set in Pumpkin Pie ink and die-cut it with our Circles Collection Framelits.  We layered the solid image "apple" stamp (from this same set) over top to blur the lines of the orange a bit and make the sentiment stand out a bit more.   Then, we stamped "You're just the Sweetest" in Basic Black Archival Ink. 

 

We also stamped our leaf in Cucumber Crush ink and then fussy-cut it out with our Paper Snips. For the final finishing touch, we added a Linen Thread bow to our orange.

Birthday Blooms... Happiest of Birthdays to You

This is such a sweet card!  I just love the flowers on the Designer Series Paper and the cute butterfly!

 

 

We start our card with a Blushing Bride card base, then added a layer of Whisper White card stock to our card.

 

We also added a piece of the Birthday Blooms Designer Series Paper to the top of our card, along with a strip of the Pool Party Glitter Ribbon.  This ribbon is so fun and sparkly - perfect for a sweet birthday card like this!

Timeless Textures... You're So Sweet

This is a color combination I haven't used in a while - it was fun to work with it again!

Can you guess the colors used on this card??  Leave a comment below and let me know (do this now before you read any further!).
 

 

So, here we go....

 

We start our card with a Smoky Slate card base (seriously, I love this color and haven't used it in so long!).  Next, we added a piece of Whisper White card stock to our card.

 

We had lots of fun stamping (using the Timeless Textures Stamp Set).....

 

-we stamped the edges with the "smudgy looking" stamp in Daffodil Delight ink

 

-next, we stamped the "small dots" stamp (in Smoky Slate ink) just inside where we stamped the "smudgy looking" stamp

 

-we also stamped the area underneath our tea cup using another "smudgy" stamp in Smoky Slate ink

 

-finally, we stamped the water splotches and "circle rings" in Early Espresso ink

Next, we die-cut our cute tea cup using the Cups & Kettle Framelits and the Schoolhouse Designer Series Paper.  We also added an Early Espresso heart to our tea cup with another die from the Cups & Kettle Framelits.
