Lots of Joy... Merry Christmas

This was one of my favorite swap cards that I received last month at Convention!!
The best part...   my roommate, Melissa Roberts, made it!!
She's pretty talented, don't you think :)

We start our card with a Mossy Meadow card base.

This is how you get that great fold to the card - it's so simple...

Start with a 4 1/4" x 11" piece of card stock.
Score at 5 1/2" (like you normally would), and fold the card in half.
Then, score one end again at 2 3/4" and fold that piece back away from the original card base.

That's it!!

We added a piece of the Merry Moments Designer Series Paper (DSP) to the fold on the card.  Check out all of the patterns in this fabulous DSP below - I love them all!!

Merry Moments Designer Series Paper  138450  $11.00

Next, we added a piece of Cherry Cobbler Card Stock, layered with a piece of Whisper White Card Stock,  to the flap of the card.

We also stamped "Merry Christmas" in Cherry Cobbler ink (from the Lots of Joy Stamp Set).

Then, we tied that gorgeous Gold Satin Bow around these layers and then added them to the card.

Lots of Joy Stamp Set  wood-mount  138810  $27.00
Lots of Joy Stamp Set  clear-mount  139468  $19.00

Gold 5/8" Satin Ribbon  134547  $7.00

Finally, we stamped those plaid trees (love those trees!!) (from the Lots of Joy Stamp Set) in Mossy Meadow ink and punched them out with our Tree Punch.

We also added a couple of gold sequins from our Gold Sequin Trim to the top of our trees.

Tree Punch  135859  $18.00

Gold Sequin Trim  132983  $5.00

I hope you enjoyed this card!!

Thanks so much to Melissa Roberts for her inspiration on this card!!

I hope you have an Inkspired day!!
