Merry Moments... Lots of Joy

This is my first Holiday card of 2015!!  How exciting is that!!

We made this card earlier this week at the Christmas in August class.  Each of the ladies that came to class had so much fun putting their Christmas cards together - it's such a great time of year (no stress!) to start making your holiday cards!!

Watch for info on more Holiday classes to come in September!!

We start our card with a Cherry Cobbler card base, then added a layer of Very Vanilla card stock, followed by a layer of Mossy Meadow card stock embossed with the Elegant Dots Embossing Folder.

Elegant Dots Embossing Folder  138287  $7.50

We also added a strip of the Merry Moments Designer Series Paper to the bottom of the card, just to give it that little flash of red on the card.  I absolutely love this Holiday Designer Series Paper - check out all of the designs below!

Merry Moments Designer Series Paper  138450  $11.00

Next, we punched the top of our tag with the Scallop Tag Topper Punch and stapled our Mossy Meadow Striped Cotton Ribbon to the top of the tag.

Handheld Stapler  139083  $10.00

Mossy Meadow 5/8" Striped Cotton Ribbon  138419  $7.00

We also stamped the tree (from the Festival of Trees Stamp Set) in Mossy Meadow ink and added a Gold Star to the top of the tree (using Gold Glimmer Paper and the mini star punch from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack).

Festival of Trees Photopolymer Stamp Set  135059  $16.00

Gold Glimmer Paper  133719  $5.00

Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack  133787  $17.00

Finally, we stamped "May your Days be Merry & Bright" in Cherry Cobbler ink (from the Lots of Joy Stamp Set) on Crumb Cake card stock and punched it out with the 1 3/4" Circle Punch.  The Cherry Cobbler and Mossy Meadow stripes on the bottom of the tag are also from the Lots of Joy Stamp Set.
