Here's one of the cute "table treats" (my friend Jane's husband came up with that name!) that each person that attended the One Day Retreat received last Saturday.
It' so much fun to spoil the ladies at the retreat!
There was chocolate inside, of course!!

These treats are so simple and easy to make using the Curvy Keepsake Box Die and the Big Shot. Just cut 2 identical pieces with the die and then adhere them together at the bottom (only!) with Fast Fuse.
Curvy Keepsake Box Die 135853 $33.00
Big Shot 113439 $110.00
Fast Fuse 129026 $10.00
Just put the two tab-sides together , then put the other two sides over top of the tabs to hold it together. The best part.... you can open and close this
treat
without tearing or ruining it! It stays cute forever!
We did tie a little Gold Glitter Ribbon around the tab on top of the treat just to add a little glitz!
Gold & White 3/8" Glitter Ribbon 139614 $10.00
We also stamped "Tis the Season" (from the Peaceful Pines Stamp Set) in Versamark ink and embossed it with our Heat Tool and Gold Embossing Powder. Now that I see this tag up-close, I should have used my Embossing Buddy to help keep those gold flecks off my paper.....
ok, next time....
We punched this piece out with our 1 1/4" Circle Punch, added it to a Gold Metallic Foil Doily and tied it on to our treat with some Gold Cording Trim. Love the gold accents this year!!
Peaceful Pines Stamp Set 139728 $26.00
Versamark Ink 102283 $7.50
Heat Tool 129053 $30.00
Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder 109129 $5.00
Embossing Buddy 103083 $6.00
1 1/4" Circle Punch 119861 $16.00
Metallic Foil Doilies 138392 $4.00
Gold Cording Trim 139618 $5.00
I hope you enjoyed this treat!
And... I hope you have an Inkspired day!
I see the embossing buddy here. What does it do for you?

ReplyDeletemaria, you use the embossing buddy on your card stock before you begin embossing. just rub it on your paper, then stamp, add embossing powder and heat set. the embossing buddy prevents extra powder or glitter from sticking to your paper :)
