Party with Cake (and Party Popup Thinlits)!

This is such a fun birthday card...  and it gets even more fun on the inside...  read on to learn all about it!!

We start our card with a Melon Mambo card base, then we added a piece of It's My Party Designer Series Paper (DSP) along the bottom of the card (this DSP is retiring soon, and I am soooo going to miss it!!), along with a strip of Mint Macaron card stock above this piece.

Next, we stamped "It's Time to Celebrate with Cake" from the Party with Cake Stamp Set and colored the letters in with our Melon Mambo, Mint Macaron and Crushed Curry Markers.

Then, we stamped that fun cake (also from the Party with Cake Stamp Set) in Crushed Curry ink and punched it out with our 1 3/8" Circle Punch.  We layered the cake on top of a Melon Mambo 1 3/4" Scallop Circle.  Isn't it cute??

It's the Party Pop Up Thinlits!!

These are so fun and easy to work with.  Just cut your paper the desired size for inside the card - I cut mine to 8" x 5" and scored it at 4".  Then, line up the arrows on the die with your score marks.  Make sure to run it thru the Big Shot a couple of times, then use your Big Shot Die Brush to easily remove the bits from the die cut.
