Swirly Bird.... Thank You

This is one of the Make-n-Take cards I offered earlier this month at the Annual New Catalog Kickoff and Buy One, Get One Free Event.

I wanted to show all of the In Colors on a card (because they are so awesome this year!).  There was LOTS of stamping going on.  Read on to learn more.....

We start our card with a Dapper Denim card base, then added a layer of Peekabook Peach card stock, followed by a layer of Whisper White card stock.

Then, we started stamping (using the Swirly Bird Stamp Set)....

-the green circle and the swirls in Emerald Envy ink
(stamp the solid circle image off first, then stamp on your card stock)
-the pink swirls in Flirty Flamingo ink
-the purple swirls in Sweet Sugarplum ink
-the baby flowers and cute birdy in Peekaboo Peach ink

-the water splotches in Dapper Denim ink

We also added a strip of Peekaboo Peach Ruched Ribbon to our layers before we added them to the card.  This new ruched ribbon is so much fun to work with.

Finally, we stamped "thank you" from the Happy Happening Stamp Set and punched it out with 1 3/8" Circle Punch, then layered it on top of a 1 1/2" Dapper Denim Circle Punch.
