Inkspired Stampers Group Gathering - Shoebox Swap and Xmas Party!!

We had our Inkspired Stampers (downline) Group Gathering this week at the stamp studio!!

It was so much fun!!  We decided to have a Christmas party and do a shoe-box swap.  I've never (can you believe it??) actually participated in a shoe-box swap before...  I think it went pretty well for our first time :).

I ran around and took pics of everyone making their cards..... (they all humored me, took a moment out from their card making and smiled!).

Sabina was filling in for her good friend, Nancy, who is home with her foot elevated recovering from a broken ankle (so sorry to hear about this, Nancy!)....

We all brought a little treat to share.... This was my contribution.....

  These little cuties came from Carolyn's Cake & Confectionary Shop, a local sweet shop just down the street from the stamp studio (I LOVE this place!!).

We held our regular raffle drawing, too!!  I was excited to get some new product into everyone's hands.....

I also made these fun tags for a gift I gave everyone that attended.  Watch for my facebook live video later today on the Gathering Inkspiration Stamp Studio Facebook Group where I show just how to make these cute tags! 

We played a kind of game with these tags.  First, I put the tags on each gift.....

On the back of each tag was a number....

I also put numbers on the bottom of each person's chair.  But, before they looked under their chairs, they all had to rotate around the table 2 spaces.  Then, they looked under their chairs and found the gift with the same number.  It was fun!!

Of course, I forgot to get a pic of those prizes before I wrapped them up... but everyone received a brand new goody from either the Sale-a-Bration or Occasions Catalogs!!  It was my Christmas gift to them :). 

Our only criteria for the shoe-box swap was to make sure to use at least one new item from either the Sale-a-Bration or Occasions Catalogs.

Everyone did a wonderful job of coming up with cute cards - and we didn't duplicate any of the products!!  I guess that tells you how many new things we have to play with in these catalogs!!

I'll post more later on my swap card - it was actually a "CASE" from another swap I participated in recently.  These swap cards came in JUST in time as I was, at the last minute, of course!, trying to come up with a swap card to share with everyone at the party.  Thank you so much, Kim Vogel, for this cute card idea!!  You saved me!!

We all had a great time at the party and making our new cards!  I think we're going to do it again for our next Annual Catalog release in May.
