This is a fun, little gift I made for my Dad this year for Father's Day. He really has everything he needs (or he just buys it when he doesn't!), so he's the typical hard-to-buy-for Dad!
But, I know he does have a sweet tooth - and loves peppermint - so, I
decorated one of our Tag a Bag Gift Boxes with some retired Designer Series Paper (the High Tide DSP), stamped DAD with an old alphabet stamp set (I just can't seem to get rid of some of those - and now I know why... they sure do come in handy sometimes!). Next, I tied some Silver Baker's Twine around the box and filled it with peppermint candy! Don't ask me what happened to the rest of the candy that wouldn't fit into the box.....
Here's a peak at the peppermint candies inside... The great thing about these boxes is that you can slide the belly band and clear cover off to get to the candy without ruining any of it!

And here's a simple Father's Day card I made with more of that retired High Tide DSP, some Summer Starfruit 1 1/4" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon and the Delightful Dozen Stamp set - all of these retired items will be available in my Buy One, Get One Free Event at the end of the month!!
I hope you all had a fabulous Father's Day this year!! We spent the morning at the baseball fields and then went for a long bike ride in the afternoon - such a great day!!
