Build a Birthday Card

In keeping with my simple card theme of late....  here's another simple card idea for you!!

The neat thing about this card is that "simple" doesn't have to be boring - just look at how cute this card is!!

We start our card with a Cucumber Crush (one of the new In Colors) card base, then added a piece of Whisper White card stock.

Here's a peak at all of the new In Colors...

Cucumber Crush Card Stock  138335  $7.00

Delightful Dijon Card Stock  138338  $7.00

Tip Top Taupe Card Stock  138336  $7.00

Mint Macaron Card Stock  138337  $7.00

Watermelon Wonder Card Stock  138334  $7.00

Next, we stamped those bright candles in some of the new In Colors - Delightful Dijon, Watermelon Wonder and Cucumber Crush.  The candle images can be found in the new Build a Birthday Photopolymer Stamp Set.

We also used some of the new Cherry on Top Washi Tape for a couple of the candle bases - I'll bet you couldn't tell that if I hadn't mentioned it!

Build a Birthday Photopolymer Stamp Set  138646  $16.00

Cherry on Top Washi Tape  138384  $8.00

We also stamped "birthday wishes" from the Build a Birthday Stamp Set in Watermelon Wonder ink and flagged the end of this 1" strip with our new Banner Triple Punch, of course!  Then, we punched a 7/8" Scallop Circle punch from the Cherry on Top Designer Series Paper Stack.

Triple Banner Punch  138292  $23.00

7/8" Scallop Circle Punch  129404  $13.00

Cherry on Top Designer Series Paper Stack 138443  $8.00

Finally, we added one of the new In Color Blossom Accents Embellishments to the center of the Scallop Circle.  Those flowers are just too cute - and, of course, they come in all 5 matching In Colors!!

In Color Blossom Accents Embellishments  138383  $8.00

I hope you enjoyed this card!!  Thanks so much to Lyssa Zwolanek for her inspiration on this card!!

I hope you were Inkspired today!!
